I am pretty hyped for this PPV, and they've got me there really just over the last three weeks. I think part of it is it's a bank holiday weekend, so don't need to worry about Monday morning.

If Hot AEW Summer is truly going to happen, it really all kicks off here, before heading into June with Collision and later, Forbidden Door and, of course, Wembley in August. God damn, I'm hyped.

Don't see it happening at the PPV. It would over shadow a lot of what happens. In the post-show press conference TK can do his usual no comment or tune into Collision. If Punk turns up he, and others associated in some way with Punk are going to have to talk about it.

One return I would like to see is Kyle O'Reilly. The match stip and the JAS sitting out of the falls count anywhere finish feels like they will get involved in the PPV match. Cole and Strong need some back up in that case.

All excitement for this show has been completely on the backs of The Elite and BCC, it's a one match ppv for me. But I'm certain a lot of the other matches will over deliver as usual.

Wonder if there'll be some shenanigans in the Battle Royal with perhaps OC 'sitting it out' until the 'winner' (say Miro?) Thinks they've won then OC rolls in, eliminates them and then wanders off with his belt in his bag. Miro batters him after the match and there's a decent fued to kick off Collision with...

 

I feel that someone like Kris Statlander, Thunder Rosa or Serena Deeb needs to return after the TBS title match and go after Jade. Gives it a bit of meaning and better than just fodder for Jade.

I'd be very surprised if he's not back and in the fold by the time the first Collision show rolls around.

I can see them going for a mirror image of the end of All Out, with MJF winning and then CM Punk walking out in the devil mask to confront him, something like that. It seems a dead cert he's back now.

That's a really good shout. I'd wondered if they'd essentially mirror what they did for Punk's debut - attempt to sell out the venue for the first Collision in Chicago without explicitly saying Punk would be there, but this seems just as plausible - perhaps the main event of the first Collision will be MJF/Punk for the title.

Isiah Kassidy is out of the Hardys match, replaced by Hook, who deserves better than getting bogged down in this nonsense. Big missed opportunity if he doesn't interact with Sabu at all.
