No matches announced. Technically, no talent announced since there's competing posters out thanks to the Elite/Punk divide. With this being the final pay day week for a lot of people before the show there's nothing to convince those holding out. Those sitting at home still have no clue how they're going to be able to watch it. It'll be a very typical AEW show where in hindsight it was a good show. Even that won't have a chance to linger with All Out the following week. yeah I was excited by it, got a ticket but now wondering why I didn't just wait. I kind of hope they do cram everyone on. I want to see Daniel Garcia, Butcher/Blade, John Silver, Evil Uno, Best Friends, Daddy Magic, Dustin Runnels, the list goes on and on...this will be their biggest show ever and they all deserve a moment out there. There better be a big ol' battle royale at the very least.

Expecting it for either All In or All Out.

I think their success with the tickets has made them pretty lazy which is a shame. With my promoter head on, when you're selling north of 80,000 tickets without announcing a thing, why go to the trouble? Whatever you're doing is working. But with my "bloke who's bought a ticket" head on, I'm getting a little tetchy.

They've done a sensible job there. But I'd definitely like something to look forward to watching. Especially as I won't be there so it'd be nice to know the card will actually be decent. The men's one is the only annual tradition. Expecting it for either All In or All Out. Not necessarily for this show (Double or Nothing seems the best fit) but I'd like them to make the Casino Battle Royal a big annual fuck off full deck of cards 54 man affair with majorstakes. Their Royal Rumble equivalent but bigger, basically. The 52 "main" entries can be mostly core roster people with the odd surprise and/or return, with the 2 Jokers (entering at random during the match rather than kept to the end) would be proper mad "comedy" entries. Someone from the 90s, or the latest indy social media flavour of the month (think Blue Kane or that pizza guy who turned out to be a wrong un). 54 individual entrances seems kind of messy so they could keep some semblance of the group "suite" entrances they've done before, but instead starting the match with the four guys who drew the four 2 cards, then the four who drew a 3 and so on up until the 4 aces (with the jokers being inserted at random during the sequence as stated before). Infinity Land
According to Fightful it might be worse than just missing All In. Jamie Hayter might not return this year.

Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted July 28, 2023 Awards Moderator Share Posted July 28, 2023 Saw some posters for the show at Waterloo station tonight. Saraya front and centre so you’d have to think she’s going to be showcased, but no idea where. Do they go with her vs Storm in a “we’re friends but I want to win the title at Wembley” kind of deal? That, and it may make people in other countries hesitant to attend stadium shows. I’m concerned that this could end up feeling like a glorified house show, but I really hope that doesn’t happen and the build-up matches the setting. Michael_3165
Khan should be throwing everything at this. Matches should be announced (or at least winner of x vs y will face z) and trumpeted all over Dynamite etc. AEW CAN'T fuck this up. If Khan gets it wrong booking wise, he has 70,000 people who may not want to return in the future. Fans must not feel conned or short changed w the size of this. It should be THE show of 2023. I've a horrible feeling the card will look like a WWE circa 2001 UK only PPV but with about 28 matches.
Infinity Land
With All Out happening in Chicago and All In being the Elite's brand, i'm certain that the Elite side of things are going to put their best efforts into All In over the following week. Which is why i'm not worried about the house show bollocks. It's just the typical piss poor PPV build right now.
