Air Fryers

Cheap air fryers are always shit. It’s worth spending the money on a decent one if you’re going to get one.

Buuuut it's quite useful to buy a cheapish one to understand if an airfryer is for you. Most supermarkets have one for what, £30 now? A bit like with DIY tools, buy the cheap one and if you wear it into the ground replace with decent. 

Old airfryers can always be passed on.

Yeah I already have an existing working oven so I'm not looking at buying one to replace it, it's an impulse buy if anything and I might look into a proper Ninja thing later when my current main one dies.

I just currently don't really see if I should move away from Halogen which are still easy to find cheaply.

My in-laws as well as a couple of mates all had cheap air fryers thought it wasn't for them and didn't understand the hype. They've since bought/been bought Ninja's or whatever more expensive ones and said it's like night and day and wished they hadn't bothered with the cheap one.

Many years ago (probably during lockdown) my wife purchased an air fryer. As she was demonstrating to me how easy it is to use, I joked “I wonder how long it will be until that insufferable cunt Jamie Oliver tries to do a TV show on air fryer recipes?”.  She guffawed, I guffawed and then we probably went and watched Boris’ (TM) evening update. 
 

Imagine our faces last night when channel flicking and we come across that insufferable cunt on ch4 with JAMIE’S AIR FRYER MEALS. 

 

In fairness, there’s probably a better suited topic for this post. The insufferable cunt.
