The Piss Monster’s back, Oba looks a complete wally delaying his Title Shot, Seth and Roman look set for a game of Musical (Shield) Chairs and my Spider-Senses already suggest they’re setting Cody up to win the belt back in Chicago, only for Punk’s music to hit at the end. Like Survivor Series when Punk came back! When we were hot! Remember?! REMEMBER?! We’ve been here before when Hangman became Champion of the Fucking World. Sometimes you need to draw a line in the sand and declare it the end of pro-wrestling. It’s all downhill from here, so let’s cancel the show and wrap up the final season. Do it, Sami. Save us all. TheScarlettChad Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Punk vs Sami would be better for me. Then Cody vs Punk at WrestleMania. Give Sami a run for God sake. Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted June 30 Paid Members Posted June 30 is there a clearer indication of WWE having fucked it than booking someone to earn a title shot, then having the real star show up and give them a reason to actually not get the title shot when they were meant to? Why do they keep doing that? Quote
Mr Kennedy Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Smackdown was recorded last night too, so spoilers are out there if you want to see if they have set anything up for Raw next week. Quote
The King of Old School Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 Heyman fucking Theory off now his real star back was amusing. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted June 30 Paid Members Posted June 30 “See you later, Axel.” ”It’s Austin.” ”Whatever.” Theory should probably get ahead of the curves and shoot his CV over to TNA. Quote
Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted June 30 Paid Members Posted June 30 I saw a clip of the Reigns/Rollins segment. I was astonished to hear that Reigns had never beaten Rollins and thought that's either some really good 'long-term storytelling' or a happy accident they've stumbled upon, but either way it's a good hook for their match. Except, actually, that's not the truth is it Ellen? Why bullshit about that when it takes all of 5 seconds on Google to discredit the entire story? And also, remember when big stars wrestled on Raw? Those were the (admittedly dark, but still better than now) days. Quote
The King of Old School Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 9 Years ago? Doesn't count in WWE's eyes. I think they pretend that Roman Reigns only started his WWE run at Summerslam 2020 Quote

They're very pick and choose about their history to fit their narrative. It's no surprise Hogan BS'd his way through life so much. It's a business of it. Quote

Sheffbag Posted June 30 Posted June 30 So the King of the Ring was built around the winner getting the shot at Summerslam and the winner instead accepts a non title match and one of the champions who the winner could face decides to set up his own championship match im smelling a cash in at end of night 2 or does Oba have to declare the match before Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted July 6 Paid Members Posted July 6 When was the last time the WWE Heavyweight Title was defended on Monday Night Raw? Tonight must be the first time in years and years. Maybe when Big E won or defended it? A real tree-falls-in-the-woods-but-no-one-is-around-to-hear-it scenario. If the proper top belt is defended, on the A show, in a match that will likely play host to the return of one of your top stars, in his home town, but it happens in twenty twenty six when they’ve pissed away all the goodwill they had, did it ever really happen? Maybe they could try turn this Sami Zayn thing into something similar to what happened to Daniel Bryan when he got massively over with the crowd because he was screwed over by the booking team. Quote
