Why is he clapping like that walking down to the ring and singing his new entrance music? Fuck sake. He will be back on Main Event before the Summer is out. They LOVE a good entrance with crowd interaction. Jey. Oba. It was actually quite impressive how unsubtle they were with it. You almost just needed one of those APPLAUSE! signs you get at TV studio tapings. GABLE! Quote
Paid Members RedTwoster Posted June 24 Paid Members Posted June 24 (edited) Doesn’t merit it’s own thread, but I still want to share it - WWE is auctioning off a chair used in the women’s war games match at Survivor Series 2022. Sounds good, until you realise that no chairs were actually used in that match (link to Fightful). I’d always wondered how much grift was involved in these ‘match used/worn’ auctions, and suspected the answer was one buyers might not like. Edited June 24 by RedTwoster Quote

While it's obviously bad from WWE (not unexpected though), if someone is the sort to bid silly amounts of money on a prop from a show three years ago, I think they get what they deserve there. A fool and his money and all that. Quote

I don't think the buyers deserve to get completely scammed out their money, though my sympathy isn't sky high. Quote

Just because you're not into it, doesn't mean they deserve to be mis sold something. Each to their own. What's foolish to you isn't to someone else. Quote

Ok this is probably a more reasoned version of what I meant. 15 minutes ago, DavidB6937 said: Are we really judging people for wanting to collect things? What's wrong with that? Yes, yes opinions etc. Collect away if you want, no one is stopping you! Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I mean, fucking hell. What a ridiculous company. What a waste of time King of the Ring was. Fucking hell. Quote
BarryOVega Posted June 30 Posted June 30 (edited) Have only read the results so isn’t fair to judge but also based on the results there’s a 99% chance the show was complete gash Just surprised they didn’t find a way for them to drag Sami into the episode and have him drop the belt, they’ve always got Friday I suppose Ethan Page might as well have Midcard stamped on his forehead now, not everyone has to be a main eventer but it’d be nice to at least see what they can do As I said I didn’t watch the show and haven’t for a while but are the Bloodline fully fledged heels now? reads like they are but then Jey comes out at NOC doing his usual babyface entrance, presumably it’s their attempt at being ‘complex’ when it’s actually just ‘nonsensical shite’ Kevin Owens having a great time on NXT Sunday night with his Waylon Mercy T-shirt on should prove that it’s the only show worth watching Edited June 30 by BarryOVega Forgot about KO’s shirt Quote
FTR2020 Posted June 30 Posted June 30 They should of had Oba Femi delay his title opportunity to face Brock and not give up his title shot. It just makes Oba look stupid. Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted June 30 Posted June 30 It's mad how quickly the conversation has become whether Sami drops the title immediately to Cody or Brock or Oba. Not whether he drops it before Summerslam, just who he drops it to. If Summerslam ends up with Roman/Rollins, Oba/Brock and Punk/Cody, Night of Champions will seem like a mad fever dream. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Why not just have Oba do double duty at SummerSlam? If he's The Ruler, prove it. Have him retire Brock, and beat Roman. This company lmao. Quote

Did I miss where they said he doesn't get one anymore? I did skip a few bits but it came across as a delay to me rather than giving it up, unless they're just leaving it open and unclear. Quote

Although can still see a scenario where Brock takes the title from Sami before Summerslam. I'm disapointed that there was no Roman/Sami interaction, Sami bringing the title back to the bloodline would have been superb. Quote

I can see a world where they put the fucking title back on Cody this week, or even on Raw next week, in time for Punk to return. Supremo will be Sad...premo. Edited June 30 by d-d-d-dAz Quote
FTR2020 Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I got it wrong. I thought he gave up his title shot. He actually put the title shot on hold. Quote
