Watched Parasite last night. I had a vague idea about the idea behind it, but I wasn't sure what I was expecting - but I really enjoyed it. I thought some of the humour bordered on farcical and it was really good, and it told the story it did really well.

About A Boy was on Comedy Central. Its normally the type of film I'd despise, a romcom with added child and music by Badly Drawn Boy. However, I've always found it really warm and watchable. I'm blaming Hugh Grant who makes a good arsehole in it.

Yeah I have no idea why I watched that when I saw it on tv one time but I was expecting to turn it off after ten minutes and ended up really quite enjoying it.

It's good, I liked it too. I've warmed to Hugh Grant more and more over the years.

I can't hear Silent Sigh by Badly Drawn Boy without getting a bit choked up.

It’s the beginning of Hugh Grant being cast as an arsehole instead of a floppy haired English gent. Hugh Grant play’s a great arsehole and is supported aptly.

Let's not overlook Nicholas Hoult's contribution here.. Most child actors are really fucking irritating so is always pretty great when there's one that isn't.

He’s very good in it. I couldn’t handle him being cast as some Machiavellian fuck boy in Skins such was my affection for him after About a Boy.

This has got me feeling like watching About a Boy again because I don't remember it that well, just that I liked it. And then obviously Fury Road again as well, why not.
