I’m now reminded of the thread when that girl in Bristol was murdered and the ambulance chasing thread starter named it “The Christmas Present Nobody Wanted”

That was me! I think It was probably during a black dog episode I cant remember much of tbh. Massive gaps in memory. I'm sorry that I did.

Sad to hear this, I was a huge fan of Love As Laughter in the late 90s/early 00s. I think I saw them around 2000 at either the garage or maybe the falcon, considered myself lucky to see them play as they were a small unknown band who rarely toured the UK. Great indie rock band.

EDIT: realising now that there is a song on that second album called "Sam Jayne = Dead" which is especially grim considering the news and circumstances around this

It's being reported the Jeremy Bulloch who was the original Boba Fett in Star Wars has passed away.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy a few times at comic cons. Such a nice guy and always spent a long time chatting to fans. Sad loss.

Gutted about Jeremy Bulloch. He always seemed like the nicest guy and someone who was genuinely greatful to fans and to costumers/prop builders for how much they loved him.

Never got the chance to meet him before he stopped doing conventions which I'll always regret.

Yep probably saw him at close to 30 different events over the years and he was one of the kindest and most genuine and caring people at every one. You can't fake that so often. He was just so grateful and made everyone feel special. He'll be missed by everyone he met and worked with.

Actress Rosalind Knight has passed away. She was a star in a couple of Carry On films in the 1950s but I'll remember her best for playing Mrs Cresswell in the Only Fools & Horses special The Jolly Boys Outing.

I had the pleasure of meeting her at a comic con and she was such a lovely lady.

Thats both Horrible Grandma and Nice Grandma this year. 

 

Cracking actor, if she was in something you would get a great performance regardless of the part. She, in my opinion, mastered the art of acting with her eyes like few others have.
