Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted October 31, 2020 Awards Moderator Posted October 31, 2020 In his defence, The Mandalorian wouldn’t exist if people thirty-five years ago didn’t think Boba looked cool.

Are you disrespecting His Dad, Jango? Don’t forget he did more in one (crap) movie then Boba managed in 2 films and a holiday special.
Mr_Danger Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Boba shifts the merch. Hate on him all you want but respect the numbers. Boba is buys.

Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted November 1, 2020 Awards Moderator Posted November 1, 2020 Jango also wouldn’t exist if people thirty-five years ago didn’t think Boba looked cool.
Guest Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 They are going to kill in Funkos This season, they can sell The Child in the chamber pot and bike bag just from this episode alone
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted November 1, 2020 Awards Moderator Posted November 1, 2020 Pedro Pascal just did some excellent/terrible Mandalorian dad jokes on Instagram. I’m okay if the show starts taking that direction.
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 Brilliant episode to kick off Season 2, loved every second from The Child sensing a fight was about to break out and sealing himself in his flying cot/ship to the Gamorrean missing the tope to Cobb wearing Boba Fett's armor to what we are led to presume is Boba himself watching Mando speed away from a distance
Mr_Danger Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Why are people unsure if whether or not it is Boba? It’s Temeura Morrison right? Or is the ambiguity concerning whether or not it’s one of the clones?
WyattSheepMask Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 I thought it was pretty obvious that that was supposed to Boba. You got the fake out reveal of someone else wearing his armour and then turns up as the real reveal at the end, looking like he’s been a desert nomad for however long the passage of time has been. At least that’s how I took it any way
cobra_gordo Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Thought episode 2 was a perfectly enjoyable filler episode. Laughed out loud for far too long at the frog thing screaming as they nose-dived towards the ice planet.
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted November 6, 2020 Paid Members Posted November 6, 2020 I don't think The Mandalorian does "filler episodes". Most the episodes are your typical "monster of the week" type fun adventures which were pretty typical of genre shows up until recent years. I really enjoyed the episode. I love getting little snippets of the New Republic and how the galaxy is reacting to the end of the Empire. It looked amazing. Faverau said that most the season 1 budget was spent on setting up the technology to make the show, now that's sorted in season 2 that money is going directly into the episodes and you can definitely tell as everything looks bigger and better. Lots of funny moments too. Disappointed that the ice planet from the trailer was just an ice planet and not Ilum, was looking forward to ancient jedi temple shenanigans but nevermind. Bring on next Friday!
Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted November 6, 2020 Paid Members Posted November 6, 2020 Perfectly enjoyable episode. Thought the use of the mercinary armour for the frog to be understood was genius. The whole final battle was good fun as well. The Child is the John Silver of the franchise. Always hungy. Him eating the eggs was great.
Wideload90 Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Slightly disappointed by the second episode. Things felt repetitive and that's worrying... Also not keen on cosplaying pilots. Still excited by where the story is headed and appreciate that this is a slow burner. 7/10 eggs.
