I've tried these. Taste wise they're not bad at all with an unexpected kick of heat, and would be cracking with like a garlic or sour cream type dip, but they get to the point where the texture/flavour feels like it's so sharp your losing tastebuds/layer of skin if that makes sense?

Would have again though!

This is how Seabrooks Salt and Vinegar crisps were years ago.  Made your tongue and lips numb.  Must get some.

I bought a six pack of McCoys Salt and Vinegar a few days back and was a little disappointed, they taste real good but you get like three crisps in a packet and they're not deadly enough to the tongue.

Did buy a bag of the Aldi corn on the cob crisps so will try them soon.

They had a wrap in their lunch range - chicken katsu wrap..Oh. My. GOD! Absolutely delicious! One of the best wraps I've ever bought.

Did you have to make some really fokken runny poachies for the missus after?

McCoys update, just had a pack that must have had double the flavoring 'cause it had that good tongue ripping pain.

I lament the loss of Phileas Fogg snacks - they also did zakuski, a sort of Eastern European tortilla chip, but flavoured with sour cream and herbs, which were ace.

And I know they've fallen from the high point of being the leading crisp brand when I was growing up, but it's always Golden Wonder for me. I will never acknowledge Walker's as top dog. Don't know why people even like Walker's all that much - they're just not that good. Can't even get the salt & vinegar/cheese & onion colours right.

Phileas Fogg was always something for me which was only sold in the offy.

Which considering my mum was an alcoholic, and always dragging me in there, was probably where my crisp obsession started.

Thanks for sharing the crisps documentary, something to watch this afternoon.

Reminds me that my great-grandmother worked in one of a branch of local fish and chip shops and a crisp factory for a local businessman called Mr. Wood, who accordingly called his crisps Splinters.

This popped up in my recommendations this morning, reminded me of Phileas Fogg which seemed to die off overnight at some point in my childhood.

Most people when faced with the time travel question choose the obvious. Birth of Christ. Dallas 1963. The future.

Me? Take me to the 1980 Snaxpo exhibition in Las Vegas.  Also, need one of those Grampus Eight tracksuit Lineker was rocking.

Aldi are back on the bootleg game, this time it's their own take on the Marmite flavour. Walkers had a decent version and there's also now a Tayto produced version which I really like but these are pretty close, the typically good quality potato crisp and the flavoring while a little different is still great.

Doritos Zingy Vinegar Blast Sharing Crisps 180g Limited Edition

Spotted these in Tescos yesterday. Anyone tried them?

Weird that they're just 'Vinegar'. Salt & Vinegar on Doritos seems wrong, but S&V is the best crisp flavour, so really want to try these.

Enjoyed these. Went really well with a tub of salsa. Cat licked one and lost her mind, absolute idiot.

Right, which one of you lovely lot live in Worcester? FB_IMG_1740771909045.thumb.jpg.65c4ddddfa8b24f88334b02ebd8d66aa.jpg
