Paid Members Dead Mike Posted March 30 Paid Members Posted March 30 Heavy recommendation for these beauties. It's essentially a coconut lion bar but given that coconut is under represented in the mainstream chocolate bar scene these are a welcome treat. Got it in the Eastern European section in Tesco for 50p! Quote

Merzbow Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I find their chocolate to be a little poor but the fillings often more than make up for it, I think I'd prefer just proper dark chocolate that has no milk in it anyway paired with it. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted April 13 Paid Members Posted April 13 These were pretty good. Thought it might end up being too sweet, but the peanuts and the butterscotch went together really nicely; both have that "warm", toasty flavour. Not been a fan of Twix for a while, as I feel the biscuit/chocolate/caramel ratio isn't right, but this was actually really good, and nicely balanced. It's difficult to tell which bit is hazelnut-flavoured (they might all be), but it comes through well and ties it all together. Very good. Quote

Merzbow Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Found the motherlode of these for 55p a bag at Co-Op, and I'm supposed to be off the sweets right now... I'm guessing they're discontinued but they're really decent, I hopefully find the Salted Peanut version for a similar price. Quote

Amazing mix of salty, sweet, soft, crunchy! Quote

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted May 14 Paid Members Posted May 14 ALERT - Wafer Creams sighting in FarmFoods in Stockport. More or less the only good thing that's happened this week. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted May 15 Paid Members Posted May 15 This was alright. The chocolate in Yorkies isn't what it used to be, so any different flavour is welcome. Despite the salt, it was still a little too sugary for my liking. I like sweet chocolate, but only when the actual taste of the chocolate comes through. This, by contrast, was very sweet, but very tasty. The coffee flavour wasn't quite as strong as in the Daim Latte, but it was quite clever to make it a bubbly chocolate, so you get a sort of cappuccino effect. Quote
