Mr_Danger
Probably shouldn't have started God of War last night. Probably shouldn't have told my kids I'd be around to raise them for the next few months either.
Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted November 26, 2018 Moderators Share Posted November 26, 2018 Fucking hell, I'm still on chapter 3.

Rey_Piste
It doesn't sound like you played more than an hour of it, the world really opens up in Chapter 3. Chapter 2 is just all tutorial stuff and it introduces the characters.

Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted November 27, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted November 27, 2018 If you're on Xbox, you can track your time played through the achievements section. 93 hours with a full time job. 😂

First thing I did once I was free to roam was ride out of camp on my horse, but he got cold and died. I want to live this game, but nothing is drawing me back to it 😐 Im with you....im trying to like it...but its starting to grate on me. Mr_Danger
Give it the £50/£60 effort you paid and if you dont like it trade it in. Too many good games to get bogged down by ones you don't like. Personally I'd say if you aren't hooked by the end of Chapter 2 then you could probably watch the story unfold on YouTube or something. Chances are if you aren't sold on the game then all the great stuff that unfolds throughout won't have as great an impression on you. Rey_Piste
I've got to agree with @Mr_Danger I've held off on buying Spider-Man, even though it's dropped to sub 30 quid. I want to finish off RDR2, before going into any other big single player game. Trade it in now, because it's still getting a good price at CEX etc.. Rey_Piste
I watched a video of some of the online stuff last night. The character creation is more involved than in GTA V. You actually get to choose a face and add blemishes like scars and freckles. As well as that you change the face shape and noses. I am looking forward to the weekend when I can play it. Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted November 28, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted November 28, 2018 Has anyone on Xbone managed to get online yet? There are some ridiculous conspiracy theories doing the rounds that Sony have paid for exclusivity and Xbone players will be locked out til Friday. Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted November 28, 2018 Author Moderators Share Posted November 28, 2018 (edited) That would be absurd because if they had paid for exclusivity then they'd want to be advertising that fact as a selling point. Otherwise what would be the point? It's not like getting exclusivity is illegal and has to be kept quiet.
