No doubt this doesn’t include Messi who after waving his little pin dick around Europe re-signed with them. Must be the worse run big club in the world. Hawking Umtiti and Pjanic for free and are willing to take around £20m for Coutinho who cost them £142m. The one big player they did shift off the books last summer, Luis Suarez, won Atletico the title. They're a complete shambles.

Hoping the latter signs for Spurs so we can finally see *lowers glasses* Pjanic on the streets of London. Here all week, try the veal. Paid Members PunkStep Posted July 6, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2021 The £200k over budget...does this include a provisional amount for Messi's contract? If not, then this problem is even bigger isn't it? What a mess. Those running the club have royally fucked things up over the past 10 years, the amount of big-money signings in recent years has been insane. Coutinho, Dembele, Griezmann- that's half of the top 6 most expensive signings of all time. And let's be honest, none of those have set the world on fire. But it's not just those, there are a load of forgotten signings for huge amounts that all add up. £36.9m for Malcolm! Remember him? They signed Arthur for £27.9m, swapped him for the much-older Pjanic to balance the books and are now trying to give him away. They are making some moves to rectify this now (promoting academy talent such as Pedri, Mingueza, Puig and Ilaix Moriba plus bringing in shrewd free signings), but the horse has already well and truly bolted. They should've kept promoting youth as they always have done, rather than following the 'Florentino Perez Route To Success'.
Mr_Danger
Even when their team was comprised of some  of the best home grown players in the world they were still doing mad shite like swapping Eto and something mad like £70m for Zlatan then fucking him off as soon as possible. The reported wages some of the current players are meant to be on are wild. Like Man City without cooking the books wild. As Devon said, it’s great. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted July 6, 2021 Author Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2021 Let's not forget them getting so desperate for a striker that they bought out Martin Braithwaite's Leganes contract and then set his release clause at €300 million. As great a player he is, Messi doesn't half hold that club to ransom
SuperBacon
Some top shithousing from Messi towards Mina here, and Emi Martinez the hero with some great stops. Brazil vs Argentina then. Â

Keith Houchen
I think it’s great. Thought he might go MLS for his pension but rinse them closer to home!

SuperBacon
Messi finally gets his Copa America title. Not a classic, but lots of lovely shithousery, and Neymar got kicked about and is crying. Wonderful.
