Orlando Jordan recently got married in Australia (to a woman).

He's got a wrestling school going on over there too. Funded by selling his beloved Ferrari F430 spider apparently.

That's some serious commitment to the cause.

How are Sheamus, Ziggler, Kofi the lost generation?

Because they went from the crew that were set to take over from Cena & co to where they'll now just float around the midcard doing nothing until they get sacked. Look at Kofi Kingston and Sheamus around Survivor Series 2009 time compared to now.

They will be when they leave.  At the moment they're still WWE Superstars.

The point is that between, roughly, Orton and Punk the WWE basically produced no new stars.  That's about a decade of guys who came in, and left without making it.  Or who ended up in TNA and became headliners there rather than getting onto the big stage.

What's happened to John Morrison?  He was scraping his head against the glass ceiling for absolutely years, and yet seems to never get mentioned any more.  Is he selling cars or something?

Morrison was useless for anything like upward mobility. No main event capability whatsoever, but a solid midcard babyface. He's a good shout for worst talker and least charisma in the history of top level wrestling.

There were four years between Orton's debut and Punk's -- and Cena, Batista and Mysterio debuted in between that time. Four years between their first title reigns as well, and Cena, Mysterio and Batista won their first titles in between those. In that timeframe, there weren't many debuts of potential breakout stars: Lashley comes to mind for sure, and Kennedy. Maybe Elijah Burke? There must be a couple I'm forgetting. But Cena and Orton were still only a couple of years into top spots then, and it wasn't until the 2009/2010 lot that anyone looked like they might take the reigns, and then time passed them by.

Morrison did have the honour of appearing in the only ever live action Smackdown vs Raw cut scene. Just look at the blandness and script reading vibe of this fucking promo from the pair of them. Honestly you will lose years off your life if you watch this. Every single line is generic and lifted from a season mode from a PS2 game and each movement from them is as robotic.

Don't know what the deal is, but he has a bad rep over here. You see him appearing in the audience of random wrestling shows and nobody wants to go near him. Very odd.

Can't remember who said it (might have been On the Hardcore Championship episode of the Attitude Era podcast) but apparently Maven now works as a bouncer in NY and denies being Maven when people ask him. Did pay his storage-place fees either so the guy who owned it sold the Tough Enough trophy on eBay to make the money back

I was rooting around in the garage and found this copy of WrestleAmerica from September 2001.

In it they list the Indy 30 recording "the future of the business".
