I'm coming down on a quiet admiration for how much Anderson no-sold this debut. It's unprofessional, but you can really tell he thinks "this is fucking stupid".

Anderson is just fucking stupid. He wasn't trying to no sell it. That's how he is all the time. He has no instincts or subtlety about his act whatsoever.

Holy shit, that was just the quintessential TNA anticlimax, wasn't it? Terrible entrance music? Check. Horrible timing killing any potential reaction? Check. Commentators sounding like they couldn't possibly be less arsed? Check. Comedy heel facials? Check. Irrelevant sport crossover? Check. It might be the most TNA thing that TNA have ever TNA'd. It's not even one step forward, two steps back - it's one feint forward while staying in the exact same place for the rest of time.

Awful is too good a word for that reveal.

 

It says a lot about TNA's intelligence and how small time they are that they still have comments and likes/dislikes enabled on that video of the reveal - with 500 likes but 1700 dislikes and every comment slagging off TNA. At least WWE disable posting on videos as soon as they post them.
