Noname Sundial

She has absolutely smashed it. Up there for album of the year for me.

I checked this out on your recommendation a while back, and really didn't enjoy it all that much. Its a solid album and shes obviously a good rapper, I just didn't gel with it at all.

I can imagine she would be good live though.

Loved the billy woods track obviously.

Have lost track a bit with new Hip Hop releases this year but this caught my ear…

Planet Asia + Apollo Brown from their new album ‘Sardines’.

P Diddy made a new album. It's actually quite fun.

It's exactly what you would think it sounds like, but I've always quite liked his lazy rap flow, he's endearingly shit.

It's way too long at nearly 90 minutes (no album should be that long) but I'd rather listen to this than the same Nas album 3 times a year.

They've arrested someone for Tupac's murder.  That's something I never expected after all this time!

Same! I honestly thought it would never be solved. One of the police officers on the case actually got really emotional at the press conference, it was all a bit surreal

The bloke has been openly talking about it for around 15 years, the fucking idiot, and his nephew is widely rumoured to be the one who pulled the trigger.

I hope Tupacs family feel some sort of justice at last.

Also related, Dear Mama comes to Disney + on October 1st. Well worth a watch.

Yeah he’s been doing interviews and stuff about it for years and basically admitting his part in it hasn’t he? How this has taken 27 years is crazy.

Here’s the mug’s mugshot;

It's a shame his mum is no longer with us to see it.

There was an interview with Allen Hughes the director in the Guardian the other week, the documentary sounds really good. I'll definitely be watching it.

I still remember all the conspiracy theories back then. Tupac is still alive.. in his songs he says he'll "make a million and split".. how Makaveli was based on Machiavelli who faked his own death.. etc etc. There were folk that genuinely thought he was living large on an island somewhere, plotting his return in the near future. People still probably believe this.

*Ahem* I never, ever believed that, not even for one minute, not even when I was a totally gullible teenager and believed anything...
