TheShowOff Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Who are those two bits of crumpet with Big Dave? Foley's daughter is the one on the left, not sure who the other is. Mainly posted for Dave's naughty eyes.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted July 7, 2015 Paid Members Posted July 7, 2015 Can't quite work out who he is.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted July 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted July 8, 2015 Can't quite work out who he is. That's because TheShoffOff didn't follow the rules by stating who is in the pic! Ps it's Dave Meltzer
C-Rock Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I'm suprised they don't have a picture of David on the front as he is often called the most over and popular Von Erich, unless the game was made after his death and could they have really picked a less attractive picture of Mike he looks awful, i know he wrestled for a short period after his battle with toxic shock syndrome and his appearance changed for the worse but they didn't have to pick and picture of him during that period which by the looks of it, it was.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted July 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted July 8, 2015 It was released in '85 the year after David died.
Vegeta Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Out of curiosity what sort of board game is the von Erich board game? And anyone know the rules of it? It looks really interesting to me.
Paid Members Callum1993 Posted July 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted July 8, 2015 It's like a reverse Cluedo.
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted July 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted July 8, 2015 The official Von Erich game? How many unofficial ones were going about?
Paid Members JNLister Posted July 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted July 8, 2015 https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/41051/official-von-erich-family-world-class-championship The Official VON ERICH FAMILY World Class Championship Wrestling Game is a fast paced exciting game where the players seek victory by pinning the opponent after having weakened him through various holds, blows and take downs. You play cards that reduce your opponent's endurance while at the same time move your wrestler playing pieces on the game board to gain the greatest advantage of the ropes and turnbuckles. This movement becomes critical in Tag Team matches. Once your opponent's endurance is reduced you may attempt a pin. Your opponent can try to break the pin once for each count, if he doesn't you've won, proving you have what it takes to be a VON ERICH FAMILY World Class Champion!COMPONENTS: The game comes with everything needed for play: a pair of dice, a gameboard, a scoreboard with four sets of scoring pegs, a deck of action cards, eight wrestler cards describing the abilities of the eight wrestlers, eight matching wrestler playing pieces with four plastic stands and a complete, easy to understand set of rules.
