Oh man, that's a shame. He was definitely my favourite on Rapper's Delight. Especially on the 12" version where he starts banging on about Superman:

My favourite verse in that song is the guy talking about going around his mates house for dinner, but his mate's mum is a shit cook. Who does that bit?

Had been thinking for a few months a chart funk song could work. Had been planning to try do some funk stuff when I got a chance to jam with my mate. Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars have released Uptown Funk which I imagine will do well. He also has another James Brown sounding song with the rapper Mystikal which is pretty good too called Feel Right.

 

Only just found out David Bowie was in a grunge band called Tin Machine.

Bruno Mars is really shit, if its not him singing songs that are boring acoustic wank sounding like Jack Johnson he's ripping off the Police with dull reggae. That uptown Funk is brilliant, it's all because of Mark Ronson, his first solo album was really good even though most of the artists are wank. My favourite track off it has to be the cover of Britney Spears Toxic, if only for the random ODB verse.

Yeah, Mark Ronson has made some really good music even though he is a bit of a knob, and The Business International are complete tossers.

Bruno Mars is a good pop songwriter. His voice is alright too. No big beef with him for my radio friendly hits. Not gonna go out of my way to listen to him though.

 

Mark Ronson seems like a great producer from the songs I have hears from him. The Business International do indeed seem like complete tossers.
