Looks like TNA for them then. To be honest I had a feeling they weren't getting signed after doing a decisive job on TV. If they were staying I thought they would have gone over or it'd have been dark.

Imagine the leverage they will have now TNA knows WWE isn't an option? Surely Richards would be better off trying to be a fireman again.

WWE issued a survey to certain members of their mailing list on Thursday, seeking feedback on a number of personalities who work and have worked for the company in the past, how familiar the audience members were with them and what roles the audience would want to see them in going forward

The talents were:

Hulk Hogan

The Undertaker

CM Punk

John Cena

Ric Flair

The Rock

Triple H

Steve Austin

The Ultimate Warrior

After answering questions about each talent, the survey then provided two "randomly" selected talents and asked fans what scenarios they wanted to see them in within WWE in the future. The scenarios were:

-Wrestling regularly on Raw and Smackdown

-A regular commentator on Raw and Smackdown

-Starring in a WWE Reality Series.

-Starring in a "WWE Highlights Show."

-Wrestling at Wrestlemania or Summerslam

-Involved in Raw or Smackdown Storylines

-Involved in Wrestlemania or Summerslam Storylines

-Do not want him involved in WWE in the future.

Seems like Warrior and Hogan will be showing up soon then.

It might be the extremely ambiguous disclaimer they have after they warn epileptic and younger viewers, where they say "Some scenes might also be unsuitable for OTHER viewers". What does that even mean?!

So I guess WWE only wants people who have the PED look and the less experience the better. The main problem with this is not that Davey and Eddie are not getting signed, but their reasoning. After all this time they think fans care about size when in actuality they care more about characters, matches and stories. Does the average WWE fan care about athletic backgrounds?. This is bad since they will now be turning others down who they think are too small no matter how much talent and charisma they have. HHH is out of touch and him taking over will be no better. This is back to the John Laurinaitus era. They only signed Indy names over the years due to having nobody else to sign when MMA exploded in popularity. Now that MMA has cooled down a little there are less of these college athletes who know nothing about wrestling that would be intested in MMA.

How can this arguement still be valid when NXT is chock full of smaller talent who can get the job done in the ring? Wrestling always has and always will, need its big guys.

EDIT: Or what KJHenley said.

Davey Richards is shit. Eddie Edwards is boring. That is why they were not signed.

I'm not saying this is all about Davey. If they turned him down due to lacking charisma and his bad rep then that is fine. The problem is they turned him down due to size and they don't want anuboduy that they think is too small, which means other wtrestlers with talent, charisma and better attitudes will not get a shot.
