DDP's tribute to randy savage

great tribute made me cry

anyone know what happened to ddp? He looks like he's either really ill, or he's had a shit tonne of plastic surgery. He's starting to look like Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler.

He's pretty old (55) and probably just looks so pale because he doesnt hit the tanning beds anymore, he seems in good shape to me.

Randy Savage will not be having a public funeral because he made it clear that he didn't want one. There will be a family only service.

He will be creamated with his ashes spread around his favorite tree, just as he did with his dog. Lanny Poffo told http://www.TMZ.com that Randy would say, "If it's good enough for Herc (his dog), it's good enough for me."

Observer update.

And surprisingly, I guess, Warrior has recorded and posted up a twenty minute tribute where he talks about Savage:

Part 1 - http://youtu.be/74NjMY5bsnc

Part 2 - http://youtu.be/xHcbIE2GZQo

I never quite know how to feel about Warrior. Sometimes he talks complete shit, but other times, like these videos, he's spot on.

Him and Hogan have quite surprised me with their Savage comments.

Hogan, Rock, Andre. That's still the list.

Id' say as far as the general public knowing who they are, it would be Hogan, Savage, Andre and Warrior. And from the more modern era, it'd be Bret, Austin & Rock (and HBK at a stretch).

I would put The Undertaker on the list as well.

Yeah, I'd add Undertaker too - and Jake the Snake.

I don't think Michaels and Hart have the mainstream recognition, sadly. Not on a par with those other guys. Remember, each was on top when business was down. It was difficult to get hold of much WWF stuff during their title runs, apart from the monthly magazine and the videos. Neither enjoyed the kind of saturation of the Hogan/Savage era that preceded or the Rock/Hogan one that followed. That's why I'm inclined to agree about Jake there.
