DJM
Apparently Channing Tatum has been confirmed as Gambit in the next X-Men movie (X-Men: Apocalypse) by producer Lauren Shuler Donner.
andrew "the ref" coyne
Trailer for the new Constantine TV Series coming later this year. Â I've been surrounding by Australians for two years now, so my accent sensitivity is way off, but do you think his accent sounds a little put on (even though he is British) or is it just me? Â However apart from that, yeah, look good. Looks like it has a half decent budget too. Â He's Welsh, which was coming through very strongly in the trailer. Â Ah! Just re-listened to it and can hear the Welsh now. I think my brain expected Constantine to talk with a London accent, hence why it seemed put on to me (i.e. actor tries too hard to sound East London, ends up sounding like a wally). Second time listening to it and doesn't bother me now. Cheers.
iamtheman
Â Still looks like it's going to be so bloody fun
Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted May 20, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 20, 2014 Reminds me of the wonderful Firefly, so that has me seriously psyched for it. Â Already, there is a Chris Pratt for Deadpool movement. I'm a huge Deadpool fan, and I still want Reynolds, but Pratt does play a magnificent cheeky cunt. iamtheman
Â Poor Superman, doesn't even get top billing in his own sequel
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted May 21, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2014 I'm really really bored of superhero movies but I'll definitely give Guardians Of The Galaxy a go. It looks like tons of fun.
Harvey Dent
I'm really excited for Guardians too, looks like a whole lot of fun. BvS really doesn't need that subtitle does it?
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted May 21, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2014 Batman v Superman is such a great title. You really don't need anything else. It'll never live up to any of our expectations (unless you're aiming low).
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted May 21, 2014 Awards Moderator Share Posted May 21, 2014 Why do I get the feeling one of the teaser posters is going to have a tagline of "Justice will dawn"?
RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Guardians looks like being a hell of a fun movie. Not sure that BvS needs a subtitle though, I mean it's the Bat vs the Man of Steel what more do you need, class logo though
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted May 23, 2014 Author Paid Members Share Posted May 23, 2014 Apparently Edgar Wright has left Antman due to differences with Marvel. That's a huge blow to Marvel if true not because he's irreplaceable but because it kind of ruins the image of Marvel having everything planned and sorted years in advance and everything running smoothly. If this is true they'll have to find a seriously solid replacement for this not to give negative buzz to the project.
DJM
Edgar Wright will no longer be directing Ant-Man. Apparently it will still be released on the same date, but with a new director, due to differences between Wright and the studio on their vision of the film. Â Surely him and Joe Cornish will still get a writing credit, and they'll use the bulk of their screenplay, can't see them starting from scratch so far into production. Paid Members Thunderplex Posted May 24, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 24, 2014 Not surprised to be honest. It's one of those films that's been in development way too long. I get the feeling it is going to be the first Marvel flop of the post Iron Man era.
