I’ve given a couple of listens and yeah, I’m digging it. Interesting to know how much “studio engineering” has gone into James’ vocals though, cos he hasn’t sounded like that in a live setting for years now.

Everyone walking around Download next year looking like The Nexus when that merch is released though

I can definitely say that Bloodstock is just not made for me with that lineup, it feels like they're going more towards the Download market while Download is pushing younger and slightly more out there artists next year.

I’m quite happy with that lineup to be honest, but I agree with your assessment of each festival’s respective directions.

Helloween followed by Biohazard (because fuck MegaDave) is the one-two combo I never thought I’d be watching, but I’m looking forward to it regardless.

Twice! It's very well run and dead easy to get around considering the size of it. Food and drink is insanely expensive though. It was nearly a tenner for a small tray of chips in 2018, I dread to think what it will be now.
