Also, for sheer comedy value, Hacksaw stomping into shot to deliver "We're all still looking for her!" and stomping off is great. Dusty Rhodes is possibly my favourite talker in wrestling, ever. I didn't catch much of his career at all, so most of it has been on videos, DVDs, and online, but there are so many great promos of his on Youtube. Some of my favourite lines: "I don't look like how the athlete of the day's supposed to look - my belly's just a little big, my hiney's just a little big, but brotha: I am bad, and they know I'm bad!" "Ronald Reagan! You ain't Nancy, but I'll get ya seats!" and one of the silliest ones I've ever seen, when he brings a "gorilla" to the set: "Koloffs! You gotta understand: you put me in this place!" I feel like when Austin Theory was having his run on top at IMPACT, a remember him being phenomenal. Then you listen back to some of his lines and one liners and..... eeeeeessschhh... it aged badly. A lot of really homophobic content. In fairness a lot of wrestler's promo probably suffer from the same fate of "acceptable" insults nowaday being really quite gross. Quote
