It's a bit of a stretch but technically true. They ran their own show at Korakuen Hall, did a co-promotion with The Crash in Tijuana, and did a co-promotion in New York on a WrestleMania weekend.

The fantasy of a big, successful British wrestling company is very endearing, but the reality is if it were possible it would already be happening.

This approach, "name it something that makes it sound like it's not wrestling", is people fooling themselves that it's a novel approach - non-fans will still see it as gay wrestling, casuals won't watch as it isn't WWE, half of us lot won't bother, and so it'll fail like every other attempt. Keeping wrestling shows small but profitable is the only way it ever works.
