Couldn’t care less who wins the league but they absolutely fucked up a double game week by not being able to beat Brentford or Wolves. Just really brutal stuff. I’ve benched them all for the Spurs match because I have that little confidence in them.

Thomas Frank's biggest crime was taking away 5 points from City this season.

I can't tell you how bang up for Sunday the entire Spurs fanbase is. Coordinated fan meet up and march to the stadium, a tifo, a plan to build the atmosphere as much as possible, fans talking about making it "hostile" and keep going for 90 minutes etc.

This will all be great until we're 2 down within 10 minutes and all want to jump off the skywalk with Chirpy, then sit on our hands in silence for the rest of the game.

Just a shame we've had to go into this again with 300 players missing, but there you go.

Arsenal fans (mainly Punkstep) doing their reverse psychology "Nah we're terrible, you'll smash us" bullshit.

Grow up. You're 5 points clear at the top of the table and we're on the verge of asking Vinny Samways and his smelly willy to sit on the bench to fill it up.

Don't fret Gooners, you've got this!

Could understand the glee if it was Villa chasing them down. The fact everyone would enjoy seeing fucking Man City handed another dodgy title is baffling. As baffling as the delight when they pipped Liverpool. I don't like any of them but I like Arsenal and Liverpool a hell of a lot more than Citeh.

We've seen City win it loads of times. We're desensitised. We're now all invested in the Arsenal Choker narrative. When they win it we'll move on to United.

Are we? Or are they not the reason the PL has got more and more boring over the last decade in terms of both style of play and intrigue.

I'm off to pick a Polish team to support. Where's Kamil Grosicki these days?

I mean I've said it before but if Arsenal win it, it'll annoy me for 5 minutes and I'll get on with my life, but @tiger_rick you're not suggesting that a Spurs fan would rather their biggest rivals win the league over Man City are you?

Also my 12yo has to go to school and deal with it, and I remember my school days when Arsenal would win things and it was brutal.

Yeah I'd rather Villa win it if we don't (come on stop laughing, you'll hurt yourself) but we can't have everything can we?

I love fans when they say "That's your level isn't it? Hoping we don't win anything!" Well yes? Are you new to football rivalry or something, that's half the fun!

We all laugh at each other, everyone laughs at Spurs, and that's the way it goes forever.

Not really as one is reality and the other one isn't in my opinion.

How can any team 5 points clear at the top with 10 odd games left, look at a team 5 points above the drop with a depleted squad and think you'll lose?

I can't wrap my head round it. That's a Spurs mentality to be honest.

Yes they are. And the way they have attained success will never not be utterly noxious. But nothing can or will be done about it. Everyone's pinning their hopes on something happening with the 116 charges but we all know it won't happen.

Of course I don't want to see them win stuff. Of course Villa would be the best option here but we all know that's not going to happen. But I think especially in light of all the Partey stuff, stuff surrounding Arteta's championing of The Daily Wire and, of a lesser importance, the awful football they trot out, it's not unreasonable to seek out a conclusion to this season which would be the funniest and most likely - Arsenal blowing it again.

Arsenal winning it is by far more morally acceptable than cheering on City to win it but the funniest option is Arsenal bottling and City winning it again. Sometimes funny is all you got.
