Does not look like the Glasgow show tickets are flying out.

Had a look there and it looks most of the sections on the right hand side of the seating plan are closed off.

From the areas open, there are plenty of seats in every section.

I’ve just had a look at AXS and they’ve released more sections, including behind the entrance. Looks like they are going with a no stage/small entrance setup, which I prefer anyways.

Doing the build to a show is a bit weird with the G1 on, no? I'm assuming apart from a couple of last minute matches that anything meaningful will just be an AEW match.

They should bin off the concept really and just have it as a normal PPV.

New Japan adjacent but Stardom are also in the middle of their annual tournament.

I think it finishes up just before FD, but probably still rules out almost the entire roster, other than maybe Hazuki and Koguma.

Holding it the UK was probably a smart move on AEW's part. More likely to sell out than in the US, imo.

Still though that's two cracking matches, on paper.

Prices have dropped on axs. They'll probably go lower still between now and the day of the show but I've jumped in. Got tickets in 106 for £86

It feels increasingly like that’s what’s going to end up happening here, which I’m completely fine with. I’m sure we’ll have a handful of guest appearances from elsewhere, but I can’t imagine it’ll be more than a handful given how internally focused the TV show has been.

I am delighted by that, gotta be honest. Don't mind one or two "invading" talents but the build to the first Forbidden Door is some of my least favourite AEW TV ever.

Was looking forward to Mistico and Hechicero a few weeks ago at forbidden door... But now get to see them ar Rev Pro Fantasticamania instead and hoping for a more AEW focussed event at the ppv

Whilst I'm very glad it's trending towards a regular AEW PPV, have to think that they definitely intended for London to host a full on NJPW (etc) crossover show when they announced it, else this would have been branded All Out London, surely?

I don't think so. You can look at the card last year and see how it's long gone from any idea of AEW v. NJPW/other promotions. Think the plan was to feature Gabe Kidd and ZSJ for and then sprinkle in NJPW/CMLL/Stardom along the way.
