Darn, I can’t believe I missed the fact there is a taping in Glasgow! I’m in two minds about the pricing, though. If it were the build to any other AEW PPV, I’d have been champing at the bit to get tickets, but Forbidden Door time is usually my least favourite time of year in AEW, it sometimes feels like a break from their normal stories, which isn’t generally a good thing.

On the other hand, you’re pretty much guaranteed some cracking matches at the taping, so I probably won’t feel ripped off if I do end up going. I’ll see what they’re charging on Friday, and hold off for some late deals if it seems unreasonable.

I'll be waiting until a couple of weeks before Forbidden Door to pick up tickets. Was at both All Ins and got tickets at the presale and saw the prices drop as the event got closer. Also resold my Cardiff (presale) tickets a few days before and got seats 3 rows from the front (hard cam side) for way cheaper than they were at presale. I'm not getting burned again. Casual wrestling fans will be hitting the WWE shows that week. I'm in no doubt that FD tickets will be available right up to the day. And with no bad seats at the O2 I'm gambling and waiting it out. Happy for everyone that's already got tickets though. Such a great feeling knowing they're in the bag

Who's big in New Japan these days? I only really pay attention Wrestle Kingdom weekend. Assuming Ospreay beats Mox at All In what's the markee match for Forbidden Door? Ospreay Vs Gabe Kidd is the one that sticks out to me but as I say I'm not familiar with the NJPW scene right now.

They’re pretty much fucked now, everyone’s leaving and the one potential future star they could have had in Shota Umino has been booked like a loser for the past 2 years.

Gabe Kidd, Yota Tsuji and David Finlay are probably the three.

I'm assuming the headline is champion Osprey against Swerve in a rematch from last year.

Yeah, the days of a New Japan guy headlining or challenging for the World Title at Forbidden Door are long gone. They binned that off last year when they did Swerve vs. Ospreay and it’s arguable New Japan is even worse off now than it was back then.

Better chance of Ospreay vs. Grado.

Given the show being in London I'd expect heavy involvement from their Brits - Kidd, ZSJ, Callum Newman, Drilla Moloney.

Likely to see Takeshita & Mone defending their NJPW belts.

There was a fair bit of CMLL involvement in Forbidden Door last year IIRC? Hoping for a little bit again as I want to see Hechicero.

Wonder if they might mix in a little bit of BritWres (RevPro?) representation with a couple of guys in tag / multi- man matches?

Was excited to finally get sent a pre-sale link for the Glasgow shows but the cheapest seats in the blocks in the presale (which seemed like good seats tbf) were £186. Definitely not paying that x 2 to take my kid. Will hang on for later, I think.

I really don't understand the prices. When I went in to the Glasgow pre-sale, decent seats in the 200 blocks were 99 quid. I had to reload the page and they were 144, which I swallowed. I went in since a few times and have seen them higher (and lower) than that.

Obviously it's dynamic pricing, but it seems really erratic.

In two minds about whether to hold off until nearer the time or just buy the Glasgow show tickets.

Oh ticket prices (and dynamic pricing!) these days how I hate thee!!

Got a couple of tickets for £55 each in the upper section, but not right at the back. Happy with that. There were a few £35 ones that looked to be pretty restricted, so I gave them a miss.

Ended up paying £127 (for fairly crap seat) which is more than I wanted to pay, but about what I paid for Wembley last year I think and less than I paid for Raw earlier in the year and seeing an AEW PPV in an arena will be really great fun, atmosphere should be great.   Looking forward to it.
