simonworden Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Yikes, I watched Night 2 all the way through live and forgot or misremembered more matches than Night 1 which I only watched the ladder match and main event. No recollection of Pride vs Final Testament nor iShowspeed managing Logan Paul. AJ Style Vs LA Night has been well and truly forgotten as well. Quote

My Styles black hole wasn’t the match, but I was lost for hours the other day trying to think “Who was that big sack of spuds AJ won the tag belts with??” until Omos’ name popped into my head this morning. Glad they seem to have given up on him, he was crap. Can’t believe they wasted a Lesnar Mania match on him. Quote
Merzbow Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Excuse me but take that back about Japanese wrestling legend and NOAH champion Omos. But seriously, he was doing pretty well there until HHH heard a black man held a championship and called him back to America. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted May 2 Posted May 2 AJ Styles vs. Heel Edge in his bollocks spooky gimmick pre Judgement Day as we know it today was the pits. Edge was awful in that run. I still think he's a bit shite, But he was truly awful wearing velvet crushed purple suits and calling fans football teams shite while using a cape to the ring like a Poundland Undertaker. Quote

I hadn't just forgotten that match, i'd pretty much forgotten this entire run AND his time with Judgment Day. And I quite like Edge historically. Quote

I actually looked at the Wrestlemania this was one on the back of your post, and it’s rammed full of matches I have no recollection of despite having watched the show, and despite it being a relatively recent one. Drew McIntyre vs Happy Corbin and Bobby Lashley vs Omos are the stand-out blank spots for me, but Thr Usos vs Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs is another bizarre one. I haze no recollection at all of a Nakamura/Boogs tag team. Quote
Paid Members Statto Posted May 2 Paid Members Posted May 2 That one's memorable (for me) for: a) Boogs trying to squat both Usos on his shoulders and blowing out his knee or quad or something b) him & Nakamura wearing some hideous orange & yellow gear to tie in with colour scheme of the match sponsor (which was a thing they had just started doing) which I believe was Mike's Hard Lemonade. Boogs & Nakamura were paired together for maybe 6 months IIRC, when they were trying to present Shin as a "rockstar" for some reason. Boogs would introduce him doing a hair metal scream then jam along to his music on guitar. Quote

I only remember him through his brief NXT fame as Eric Bugenhagen (what are we even doing with that name) and he sort of mimed the instruments to his theme and it got a rather likeable pop for a few weeks a la Adam Rose. No memory of anything on the main roster and until his name was mentioned there I forgot he was even Rick Boogs. The NXT theme was a cracker though. Quote

I remember watching a Royal Rumble for the first time in years and he walked out and I remember thinking this is why I don't watch the WWE anymore. Aside from the awful name, he looked like this Quote
