Ah actually, I really like that idea - Hangman has the opportunity to win by taking the low road, refuses to do it and loses through MJF taking that route instead.

From there you can have someone - perhaps Moxley or Christian - try to tempt him back to the dark side, before he turns full face and goes after whoever that person is.

I take back what I said, there are a lot of good options here. Whatever the case, it’s the most I’ve looked forward to an MJF match since he headlined All In.

I think they should blur the face/heel lines even further. Have Hangman either win or lose by doing something incredibly diabolic and going too far.

Moving on, can people stop mentioning this Christian "cash in". Not only is the worst WWE trope they've ever copied but Christian is about 874th in the World Title pecking order at the moment. I know people who still like The Miz in 2025 would claim that's some sort of heat but it really isn't. It'd bury the World Title and it hasn't even made it out of it's suitcase yet.

Mox should win, Christian claims his title shot, Edge fucks him over, Mox retains and AEW never does this nonsense again. Christian sees the light, E&C reform. One last shot at tag team gold. They don't win. The End.

Or - Christian cashes in at the end of Mox/Cope to make it a triple threat (like Rollins in brock/Roman), FTR cost them both the match for Mox to retain. Then you build up to a big E&C reformation at All In Texas against FTR. The story being that FTR want to prove themselves the best tag team of all time so goad and bully Cope & Christian over months to get them to join back up so they can beat one of the best teams of all time and solidfy themselves as living legends. Or not. I dunno.

I think they should definitely blur the heel, blur him out all together and then I won't have to see him at all. The problem with that match is that no one cares about AC and the Sunshine Band enough to really get behind Cope as a world champion or Jay Shite and FTR enough to give a shit if they turn on him. Throw in that Moxley has all the presence of a half eaten battenberg, and the same wrestling ability, you have a match that no sane person can be expected to care about. 

As has already been mooted, Toni v Mariah should go on last but it won't. Ken v Takeaway, Bruv v Arrows and MJF v Hanger are all better matches than Cox v Mope and with more on the line. That's how much this Dudline story has sucked the life out of the top of the card. For me it's not saveable as a storyline and it needs to end and be buried ASAP.

I think Christian should just never cash it in. Endless claims of waiting until the right moment, but he never does it. Even when being wheeled out in 30 years time for an old-timer appearance, hugging his clipboard, claiming the title will be his any day now.

I feel sorry for the poster who started this thread and the one who is getting personally abused by a group of posters who like to join up together, safety in numbers and say what they want. Its a shame no moderator on here wants to do anything  about  it.

I thought the previous few AEW PPVs had a better flow to them but I think you're right, with this many big matches it's going to be back-to-back action, I'll be watching it over a few sittings on Monday evening.

I've just got in the habit of avoiding all social media the following day after any PPV/PLE until I've watched it. That seems to work OK...although thankfully I don't have anyone at work who watches wrestling and I can avoid the niece/nephews too ?

I think they all wrestle in NXT. Bryan Bunkum, Cayden Codswallop and Penelopey Poppycock. All three of them do a gimmick like the Vaudevillains used to do.

Unfortunately my job involves social media use, and inevitably something big pops up, or I’ll notice trending topics that give away results.
