AEW Revolution 2025 Discussion

Somewhat belatedly I watched the rest of this and I'm not going to review it in detail or match by match because I don't want to come across as a moaning contrarian or anything, especially as it seems to have been universally enjoyed on here, but I just hated almost everything about this event. The one positive I will give is that Kyle Fletcher should be a massive star, it's just I have no faith that will happen in this company and that's a great shame.

I'm honestly not surprised, but don't let that take away I personally enjoy your reviews as they come from a different opinion but always worded and informal, really extremely enjoyable reads.

I presume you're not watching the weekly TV so just thought I'd highlight a couple of really, really excellent matches from the past few months that if you haven't seen I think you'd enjoy.

 

Fletcher is excellent as he seems to be able to perfectly blend the modern athletic high spots based style with really traditional old school heeling and psychology that you don't really get anywhere else - at least not to this standard. The man gets genuine heat in a day and age where very few people can and without sacrificing the in ring expectations of the modern fan.

He was just in the semi main event of one of AEW's biggest ppvs of the year in the first year of his singles run so hopefully they have some plans going forwards. I'd give him a TNT title run to start things off.
