Paid Members Jazzy G Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 Eric Bauza, who was the guy currently voicing some of the Looney Tunes characters has passed away suddenly at the age of 46. That's the same age as me. I know most of us are probably more familiar with Mel Blanc doing the voices, but this is such a shame. Quote
Paid Members JLM Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 That’s really sad, he was an amazing talent. Coyote vs Acme is one of my favourites of the year and he voiced most of the animated cast. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dd1ivscNHDr/?mdxt=MWJmcGFibXlnbXViYw== Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 I posted at the time I saw the film that he couldn't do Foghorn Leghorn very well, which is true, but I should have also said that he was pretty fantastic at all the others. A real loss. Quote
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted October 26 Awards Moderator Posted October 26 Richard Riehle passed away a few days back; maybe not the most recognisable of names but he was in loads of movies and was a familiar face. Likely best known for the knobhead prison guard in The Fugitive and his brilliant turn as the inventor of Jump to Conclusions in Office Space. Quote
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 Walter Koenig has boldly gone, at 90. Quote
Paid Members johnnyboy Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 Walter Koenig, probably best known as Chekov from the original Star Trek, has died at 90. Even in my old age I still can't get through the helmet creepy crawly scene in The Wrath of Khan without flinching. That only leaves Shatner and Takei from the original main cast still alive now. Paid Members gmoney Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 (edited) When I first started listening to podcasts, one of my favourites was Never Not Funny hosted by comedian Jimmy Pardo. He's married to Danielle Koenig, daughter of Walter. He would occasionally mention stories about Walter, the Star Trek cast (except Shanter, a twat, of course) coming to family events in a big group, including Nichelle Nicholls insisting on giving a speech at his wedding even though she didn't know Jimmy really at all. He always sounded like a super nice guy. Decent enough actor, and for a guy who was hired on the basis he looked like Davey Jones, he did pretty well. Edited October 26 by gmoney Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 I loved his turn as Bester, one of my favourite parts of one of my favourite sci fi shows. Really got to me this one. Quote
Paid Members johnnyboy Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 There's a nice interview The Roddenberry Archive put out that was filmed within the last couple of years. Quote
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted October 26 Paid Members Posted October 26 He was great in Star Trek IV looking for the Nuclear Wessels. 90 is a decent knock. Quote

Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted October 27 Paid Members Posted October 27 (edited) RIP Susan St. James, the "wife" of McMillan and Wife, all time beauty, and WM2 commentator for some reason. Edited October 27 by Sergio Mendacious Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted October 27 Paid Members Posted October 27 Married to Dick Ebersol, of that weird series of SNL and Saturday Night's Main Event fame. Quote
