That Edge/Rollins HIAC i completely forgot about. It was horrible. A long drawn out bore fest.

This was brilliant and exactly how a cell should be used.

Such a shame they watered it down by it having its own event, even worse that they decided to put 3 HIAC matches on all the said events!

HIAC is the sort of match where you should be able remember the majority of them, unfortunately I probably remember about 4 or 5 of the 50 odd there's been.

Definitely. But a point worth making, I think.

You are incredibly boring. You were making a point in the AEW thread about not continuing to mention WWE, NXT and Triple H in an AEW thread, I almost replied saying that you and Scorch need to remember this when stinking up WWE threads.

Get my name out of you mouth, I even gave props to CM Punk today!

I’ve just watched the KO/Cody thing and burst out laughing that it all unfolded with a big R Truth image smiling in approval as it went on.

If they’re going to do these social media captures to build a feud going forward, they want to be more careful with the surroundings because even the best mind in the business couldn’t have done this on purpose.

Ok.

1. Was this your first post? Don't recall seeing you before.

2. Think you missed the point of my original post. But that's fine, better posters who I respect have already called me out on it.

3. Stinking up WWE threads? I only comment on stuff I've seen and I've seen about 2 hours of WWE over the past 3 years. I very rarely, if ever, comment on the week by week of WWE TV  in the WWE threads because I don’t watch it. So fuck off, you dickhead.

4. The main point of my post was that CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre was a really good match.

Bye.

The KO/Cody thing really bothers me, but I think that's just because I'm an old bastard and like things how they were.

I know the digital age is upon us and everyone is on social media etc, but I hate that to follow a wrestling angle you have to be. I appreciate they'll probably address this properly on Smackdown but still, I'd like to have been able to see/access the angle via watching their TV shows rather than seeing highlights on thr TV show from social media.

I know im wrong and need to get with yhe tikes and this is the future, AEW have been doing this sort of thing for ages so it's nothing new but still.

What's the difference as long as they show it on TV too? You don't HAVE to be on social media. So if you weren't aware of it I'm sure you'd enjoy it just as much on Raw or Smackdown when they cover it.

Aye, but they'll just cover it won't they, it won't happen in real time, with live reactions from fans as it happens etc. It's just not the same.

I think it’s a great. It creates a bit of a buzz and speculation ahead of the next show, and frankly, it’s got me more interested in a Kevin Owens turn than any of the standard stuff would. This’ll obviously appear - or be referenced - on TV, but there’s absolutely room to do things like this and vary how stories play out.

When brilliant segments or videos appear on social media instead of television - I’m kinda with you there, but even then there’s room for things like - for example - Hey EW.

Rollins/Edge and Rollins/Cody says hello ?

Both very recent as well.

Edge did the square root of fuck all worthwhile in his comeback in WWE, and I will die on that hill. Great to see him, glad he could come back, but he did fuck all of note on his return including that HIAC before departing for AEW.

CM Punk is just having the time of his life this time round, isn't he?

It sounds *so* weird to say this about a wrestler I don't know with a history of behaving in a way I wouldn't endorse, but I hope he's finally happy.

I know it's always been fun to argue about him over the years, and whether he was misunderstood or a dickhead, but it's always been a bit sad that a man with such talent and creativity never seemed to feel comfortable in his own skin or situation.

If he's getting a bit of peace and contentment before he calls it in for good, I'm glad for him.
