People will pay hundreds of pounds to go and see the same Oasis gig they saw two years ago. Taking those two seperate thoughts and juxtaposing them makes me feel uneasy as they're two things that shouldn't exist in the same society. It's not the fault of the people buying the tickets (although in my opinion they are mugs but that's irrelevant to my point). Its the point of the billionaires and media that have created a Britain where energy bills are unaffordable to many but crazily expensive Oasis tickets are affordable to many others. So many of us are cosy in our houses while people live in huts in other countries and drink dirty water. Others are homeless. Some people get to go on holidays. Others cant. There are a lot of reasons to hate the Oasis reunion, but i'm not sure one is it being an emblem of a bourgeois upper class moving ever further from the starving lower classes. They're just shit.
