Stacey Slater is my ideal woman, just the right amount of crazy.

Even with the risk of being murdered, I'd take the risk.

I like that ‘just the right amount of crazy’ is a woman that has murdered and carries the risk of murdering you. Let alone the constant boyfriend dad shagging she’s in to.

If Secret Cam was real, I'd have been subscribing to IceSkater95 straight away.

An episode of Downton Abbey (I don't watch this so not sure if it's representative, but I thought this was atrocious)

I've seen two episodes now. This is garbage.

Still at the in-laws, and thanks to a loan of an air fryer, our Boxing Day food has gone according to plan. Cracked into the beers just as the Forest match kicked off, and combined with the buffet style food and dodgy ale I’ve received on Christmas Day, my guts are in an unholy state.

Went to use the bog about 20 mins ago but it was occupied by my father in-law, so nipped to the bedroom next door to wait while he finished. Whilst in that poor kid’s room, I dropped an awful bomb which travelled through the wall and made him shout “Gordon Bennett” in disgust, which made me laugh so much that I slightly pissed myself.

Happy Boxing Day!

My sister got me an ace present - had tried to buy it at my bookshop, but it was still only available in hardback, so decided to wait until next year for the PB release. Looking forward to reading it.IMG-20231227-WA0000.thumb.jpeg.173d938666d86dc7b9ed7ef68aaf87d0.jpeg

Got my ex a signed copy from Resident Music in Brighton. Very much looking forward to "borrowing" it and never returning it.

Remember the Rotary Club Santa sleigh thing that came down my road?

Went out with 10yo today and had to pop into Sainsburys and they were parked up outside.

I really like this.

Literally just saw a TikTok where Dapper Laughs says this moved him to tears. I guess we know who their target audience is Bacon lad.

Also rips off the end of Aftersun.

Also, my son will never get me anything he doesn’t want for himself so no, I do not feel seen!

Hosting a Christmas quiz on Monday at work and thought some of you might want to take on the general knowledge round. If you think some of these are way too easy then please understand this is for about 30ish people so the level is hard to get right :)

1.) 2025 saw the 40th anniversary of Back To The Future. What speed does the Delorean time machine have to reach in order to travel through time?
2.) What became the world’s tallest church in October?
3.) Matthew Streeton is the voice of which much-maligned transport announcement?
4.) Steel Dragon 2000 in Kuwana, Japan, is the world’s longest what?
5.) This year Sarah Mullally was named as the 106th what?
6.) The River Irwell separates which two cities?
7.) Which high street chain was sold for £1 in June?
8.) The word sauna comes from which language?
9.) What stands on the top of Mount Corcovado?
10.) Which creatures make up a fifth of all mammal species?
11.) At 410 miles, what is the UK’s longest road?
12.) What chemical elements have the symbols S, B and C? (Three point question)

I've also done a round on Christmas nunber ones, where 10 seconds of songs will be played. There have been some very random Christmas number ones in my opinion.

Answers:

Spoiler

1.) 88mph

2.) La Sagrada Familia

3.) See it, say it sorted

4.) Roller-coaster

5.) Archbishop of Canterbury

6.) Manchester and Salford

7.) Poundland

8.) Finnish

9.) Christ the Redeemer

10.) Bats

11.) A1

12.) Sulfur, Boron and Carbon
