Well delaying a game has never made it worse but that's me trying to be positive and not to completely fall apart with disappointment. The high of watching that first trailer with Love Is A Long Road blaring seems so long ago and there's still another year (at least) to wait.

Ah well, hopefully one day I'll be getting down and dirty with the Thrillbilly Mud Club

I know the mum of one of the developers.  I’ve sent her a scathing text.

I preordered GTA IV and GTA V with the silly 'here's a box full of GTA branded stuff that you will never use/wear/display' limited editions, but this news has made me oddly cross about it all. Is this all just to avoid spending money on printing discs or is there some other reason behind it? I heard speculation it's too big to fit on a Bluray. And if it's a massive game on storage, won't that take up half of people's storage devices?

Leaks. They don't want the story leaked on YouTube the minute it's launched.

But if they're allowing people to preload it on November 12th surely someone will just find a way to crack that and the whole thing will leak anyway?

It won't pre-load the entire game, executables and other stuff will be missing.

EDIT: I think some places like Steam keep the files packed up too, only unpacking on release which can take some time.

I'm not a massive gamer but I bought a PS2 back in the day especially to play GTA: San Andreas when it first came out. I'm pretty sure that ever console upgrade I've made over the years has been to play the newest GTA game. Just had a look at PS5 prices and it seems like they're about £550. Is that right? Isn't that more then when they were first released?
