She is really lost in a pit of hate now, I'm sure the homophobic comments will follow. I guess she is probably on a bit of an echo chamber with her views and contempt breeds contempt I'm not sure if it's a racist comment. I could see how it's could but I think it's more of a social commentary comment with transphobia chucked in Quote

The danger? As if being a sex pest or a murderer or whatever else doesn't happen unless it's in the trans community. Right. It's a constant bullshit facade of trying to hide behind fighting for what's right and protecting people when really you're just a transphobic cunt. I think it's a common thing. People find ways to justify their prejudice by saying they are caring about another groups rights. Joey Barton criticises trans women in women's sports and says its not fair after bullying women's footballers constantly. Fuck of Barton its nothing to do with women's sports you're just a cunt. Controversial subject this but I was talking to someone about hormone tablets and puberty blockers the other week. Now I want to make it very clear I don't have all the information and don't have a strong opinion in them. But you have to consider the while argument. Some people say its just wrong under any circumstances to give under 18s them. OK but what if you don't give them them and there's a high chance of suicide. What if the chances are if after very careful psychological evaluation its very likely you will do more harm than good by denying them. Once people reach puberty they start to develop the body's of their biological sex. That can be very traumatising for trans people. If you say you really care about children then you have to consider these things. You can't say you care if you want to impose a blanket ban even though it could do a lot of damage. Like I said I don't have all the information so I don't have a strong opinion on it but it has to be what's best for the individual Quote

I think the point is still the same. There's no way you could say that was a comment that was anything to do with womens rights. It was a clear transphobic comment Of course, and there was no shade towards you, just found the actual quote that's all. Quote

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 7, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 7, 2024 She's moved on to biphobia now, as well. This isn't shot through with the same militant hatred that she reserves for trans women but it is so staggeringly pig ignorant of the constant challenges and abuse that bisexual women have to deal with so frequently in their lives. What a fucking shithead. Quote

What a fucking shithead. I don't even know what her point here actually is but the weird, arrogant hatred is unmissable. Biphobic, misogynistic, and bizarrely judgemental of teenagers. I hope no one ever assumes my adult views based on dumb stuff I did to pop a crowd at a house party when I was a teenager. Quote

The Gaffer Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 It's general election season here so we've been keeping tabs on the most entertaining yells-at-the-clouds. This guy's put these signs up and down the quay where I have my tea and coffees: Full on using the Brat aesthetic without even knowing it . There's also this guy up the country who has listed his certification in jewellery manufacturing, which is surely only going to be relevant if he plans on crafting nine rings of power if elected: And he very much believes he will be elected, and he's got one of the best unintentional Steiner Maths ever to prove it! CDM Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 To me a lot of the anti woke stuff seems like people wanting to defend their right to be racist, sexist, transphobic etc. Like any movement maybe woke goes to far at but a lot of it just seems like being respectful Quote
lanky316 Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 That's all woke means, being respectful and aware of things. It's just become the latest version of "political correctness gone mad!" over things that haven't really happened or have nothing to do with any of that but the usual bigoted mob have decided to modernise a bit. The vast majority of people who describe themselves as anti-woke are usually old manning at clouds over things and can't even really say what it is they're offended by without basically saying "I want to be *insert phobia here* without people calling me out on it" Quote
