New Jack is a ghastly person. No redeeming qualities, psychopathic, dangerous and reckless. Anyone that attacks someone in the ring for no reason (ooh er!) is a c*** in my view. Stabbing people ffs.

Don't forget him beating the shit out of Terri, selling photos of her nude (nude and bloody in some iirc) which he thought was hilarious when she asked him to stop and refusing until she got a court involved.

On some level with the likes of Val Venis and the Harris Twins they have to score bonus points for having made no meaningful contribution to wrestling either - Jerry Lawler's one of my least favourite people in wrestling, but at least he had some banging matches with Terry Funk to make up for it.

Remember when they nearly bought TNA at one point, through a marketing company that sounded like a Nazi furniture outlet?

Aroluxe. Sounds exactly like some experimental drug a twat would take instead of getting vaxxed.

That's the one. Just had to look it up, sounds like they were pretty much keeping their TV afloat around 2016, though messrs Ron & Don aren't listed as account owners and don't even appear on the site's staff page.

Can't imagine why.

Benoit was an arsehole long before the murders. He brutalised Puder at the Rumble. Didn't he also make people work out with him until they puked?

Plus didn't New Jack have brain damage? Don't see how you can excuse Benoit but not New Jack. In a way I have bigger issues with the promoters who kept booking New Jack to be honest.

Really it's the fans. We've supported, enabled and turned the other way to terrible behaviour for years. Most of us have directly funded it.

I think with New Jack, particularly in the ring it was often played for laughs because he'd trot down to the ring with Natural Born Killers blaring while he pushes his shopping trolley full of plunder, strumming the guitar before he smashed it over somebody's head etc, and cutting promos about spending a week walking around with a knife stuck in his arse. A far cry from the Mass Transit stuff, and all the other things he got up to. Plus there are then people like Cornette talking about what a delight he was to work with in Smokey Mountain and how he was apparently nothing like the character he portrayed in ECW.

He was still selling sexual photos of a woman with out her consent and against her wishes. He was a cunt.

Wasn't he one of those wanking in the wardrobe?

Always good to look back at Triple H’s, “funny story,” about Benoit making some poor bastard do a thousand squats one day, then the next day when he couldn’t bend his legs, he made him do five hundred more. Top bants. Imagine if this was the best, funniest story someone could come up with as a tribute after you died!

There was also a story about Benoit, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero being absolute wankers to Jerry Lynn on a Japan tour when he was over there as Mr JL. I remember Lynn talking about it in a shoot interview and saying they made his time over there miserable and then it was made worse when he’d quite badly hurt his ankle during the tour and could barely wrestle, so then when they got back to the US they all told Bischoff he was faking injury/sandbagging it or something.

Obviously the JL gimmick was going nowhere in WCW so it wasn’t like they derailed some big push, but why be dickheads? Jerry Lynn’s always seemed a good guy as well. I don’t think he actually named them in the interview but it was obvious who he was talking about. And I remember seeing a match with him against Benoit in Japan years ago and his foot was heavily taped so it checks out.

🤦‍♂️Yeah Benoit sounds like wrong 'ne, even before the horrific things he did at the end.

Wonder if it had anything to do with the fact he idolized another sociopath and mean spirited little prick - Dynamite Kid?

Billington like Benoit was a world class performer who demanded respect (in this fascinating, crazy business of oiled men pretending to hurt each other in their underwear) but was quite a dark brooding character who seemed to get off on intimidating people backstage.
