Yes, that's a fair point. Though the presentation and celebration has already happened, the open top bus parade comes later. Absolutely no comparison between thousands of fans lining the streets for a glimpse of their heroes and the absolute dreck we see on wrestling TV though. I want at least two to three weeks of shows filled with skits of Hangman partying and going on day trips with the Dark Order. The Zoo. Theme Parks. All You Can Eat Buffets. So presuming it's Mox (as the most likely candidate and tying into the finish og the Casino Ladder Match) we'll probably just get promos and the like rather than fucking about in each other's matches in the lead-up. Before the the match Dark Order's all nervous in their scenes. Then you see Culter's footage of the match and the win. Then goes to the Dark Order in the back ready to pop champagne but it's "Where's Hangman?". Cut to black... car lights in the darkness pulling up to a house. They park out in front, the lone figure pulls out their travel case. A door to a bedroom opens, Hangman puts down the newly won AEW World Championship on a nightstand so they that he look into his baby's crib and say something...or nothing at all as the moment will say it for him. For All Out it felt like everything was decided upon three weeks before and then rushed together, whereas you can already map out over half of this card based on the TV alone. I saw some people online suggesting Hangman should lose and continue the chase into next year. I’ll throw myself off a fucking bridge if that happens. How anyone could be complaining that the match needs more time is beyond me. It seems to be based entirely on Hangman's promo having not been "angry" enough, or that him and The Elite haven't got physical yet. There's still time for Page to get angry between now and the PPV, but that promo wasn't the time - it was a brilliant babyface promo that explains where he's at. And I can't see how he doesn't win - you don't do the "I failed, but you still believed in me, so this time I'll win" promo and then lose without killing all your appeal as a babyface. I'm still convinced Kenny's going to - aside from his next AAA match - take some time off after losing to Hangman, and allow Adam Cole to step up as a singles talent.
