A pet project of Nelson Sweggler. Who was a WWF producer in the 80's and no surprise, worked a fair bit on the Monsoon/Heenan era Prime Time Wrestling. He pops up a fair bit on the archival footage on that recent Wrestlemania IX documentary.

Here's a clip of the UK Undertaker wrestling. He looked the part walking to the ring but that was about it.

Plus, after that, one of Yokozuna's last matches (from the Bath Pavilion) and the poor bloke was barely able to move.

If you are only familiar with the El Grande Americano saga from WWE TV  you need to do yourself a favour and check out how it is presented in AAA.

Gable Americano is a huge heel and Kaiser Americano is an Austin level babyface (seriously!)

In this segment, Gable Americano attacks a blind comedian who was making fun of him, the female announcer (who is also Kaiser's real-life girlfriend) tries to stop it and slaps Gable Americano. As he threatens her Kaiser Americano appears (listen to the crowd reaction) and the two then have a fight.

Later in the night they come back with a wild pull-apart and the challenge is issued - mask vs mask.
 

AAA is the best weekly wrestling TV of 2026. It's not even close. I'm looking forward to the mask match more than I was for anything at Wrestlemania.

Agreed. It felt organic and intense. I hope it was just the two of them agreeing to improvise and go for it until they get broken up.
