This is possibly going to sound like a bit of a daft question, but is there a recommended order to read the books in that massive Humble Bundle?

This will be missing a bunch out, but based on what I read/was interested in, and how they were published at the time:

Robots in Disguise and More Than Meets The Eye were published concurrently and were both effectively jumping-on points. There's probably some of the stuff that came before in there, but that was my own jumping-on point. You don't need to read one to understand the other for the most part.

After a while, More Than Meets The Eye is replaced by Lost Light - it's the same ongoing story, so you just switch from one to the other.

Most of the rest, you can read in any volume order. They're unlikely to affect the main MTMTE/LL story particularly.

If you want to get exhaustive and are particular about order, I'm sure someone else can do better than me. I'm suggesting, for me, the 'skip to the good parts' version.

I've been using this as a guide and found it a godsend.

Added this Mission GTR to the collection. Its Fortress Maximus in the guise of a Super GT Nismo GTR. Fantastically detailed and lavished with paint and character. I've not even felt the need to Transform it yet. Lots of die cast metal with high quality plastic. More information in the link below.

This is next weekend. Anyone going?

What are these?

Yeah I'll be going to TF Nation. I've had my tickets roll over for the last couple of years now.

Getting myself in the mood for the con by watching Transformers The Movie. Seems appropriate on the 36th anniversary of the film's release.

Awesome. I'm still up in the air about going. I've got a few family commitments that are going to make attending difficult. I'd be looking to check out the trader halls. I'm thinking Sunday is the best day for me.

I'll just be sticking around on the Saturday but will be taking in the full day and evening activities which I don't normally do.

With train services being all over the place that weekend I'll be going up on the Friday and coming back on the Sunday to give me a chance of getting home with minimal hassles.

Excellent. Enjoy it. Some of the panels look like they'll be a lot of fun. Twitter chatter shows that people are very much looking forward to this. Covid caused the cancellation of the recent ones. If you have the time. Please report on your experience at the event in here. Have a great time.

So lots of fun was had at the TF Nation Convention in Birmingham this past weekend. I met quite a few guests and saw some panels which were good. And we got the first look at the official Royal Mail Transformers stamps that are now available to pre-order.

On Saturday evening we got another exclusive in the form of a run through of the original script for The Transformers The Movie that was written in 1984. Quite a few deviations from what was made I'll say, it was jaw dropping to hear. I found a Twitter commentary that picked out some highlights as it was going along which also has some concept art of what could have been.
