That is something I intend to do. Why? What was wrong with the English audio?
Paid Members BigJag Posted December 31, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted December 31, 2020 The English audio for me lacks emotion. It's also quite slow. I'm thinking that Japanese audio may bring some life to the audio.
LCJ
Disappointed that Frank Welker and Peter Cullen aren’t involved with the Netflix series. Looks great in HDR though.

Yep. Something to do with Netflix “not going Union”. I’m guessing it costs more to hire actors from the Screen Actors Guild so it’s a cost saving exercise. Shame as I’m sure Netflix could’ve afforded them.

It's an odd one because Netflix have an insane cast for the up coming animated of Universe series. Seems really odd that they wouldn't at least get Welker and Cullen for it. Paid Members BigJag Posted January 3, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted January 3, 2021 Who's in this cast? I'm not overly familiar with any of the voice cast for Seige and Earthrise. Cullen not voicing Prime is always lamented. Although there is something to be said for not over using him.

LCJ
Comparing those casts, it’s certain that Netflix see Masters Of The Universe as more of a priority than Transformers. Saying that, Transformers has had more than its fair share of live action movies, comics, toy lines and new animated series during the last twenty years. Paid Members BigJag Posted January 3, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted January 3, 2021 (edited) They've certainly pushed the boat out for MOTU. Batman for Merman. Joker for Skelly. Buffy for Teela. Flipping Cersei will voice Evil Lyn! Is there any money left for the animation? Is Tartakovsky and crew coming in for that? Edited January 4, 2021 by BigJag No Worf. Boòoooo. Paid Members Jazzy G Posted January 4, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted January 4, 2021 (edited) Skeletor as Moss Man. Presumably Peter Cullen and Frank Welker aren't in the Transformers show for Union reasons. Edited January 4, 2021 by jazzygeofferz

Paid Members air_raid Posted January 8, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted January 8, 2021 There’s a fabulous Easter Egg for Marvel UK readers in the latest transmission on the Earth Wars mobile game. Back in the day, Dreadwind used to reply to letters in “Dread Tidings” which complained about errors in the writing, drawing, colouring etc - very meta for an 80s kids comic - by referencing a punishment for the “Stubbies” (guys with the pencils) called the VVH, which was occasionally explained to stand for Variable Voltage Harness. Usually a dry remark like “Oops, rest assured the stubbie responsible will spend several hours in the VVH.” Today on Earth Wars, Megatron has suggested that Starscreams had his circuits scrambled by “that last session in the Variable Voltage Harness.” Brilliant. The VVH was my second favourite thing to happen in Dread Tidings, after the time a child wrote in to describe his toy battle in some detail and made reference to losing Hi-Test in the shagpile carpet, to which Dreadwind simply replied “Can we say “shagpile” in a kids comic?”
