It’s all become so stupid and crap I’m half expecting Roman to not even acknowledge any of it. Close! What did Roman do as retaliation after a rival gang set fire to their property, beat up family members so badly that their faces were left pixelated, kidnapped another, and then seemingly murdered one more by running them over with a car? He rushed to the building and…brushed the whole thing off to have a row with LA Knight! It was only a few hours later that he found the time to…get Adam Pearce to book a six man tag team pro-wrestling match, which he openly admitted he couldn’t be arsed participating in himself. Amazing. Roman Reigns is the funniest, most fascinating character in pro-wrestling. A man who can flip between babyface and heel or work and shoot on a complete whim. At any given time, he’ll do whatever makes him the biggest and best and everyone else a dickhead. You cannot win. He’s making up the rules. He wins. Always. This is every single wrestler on the Raw roster in 2026, trying to not get completely mugged off in their feud with Roman Reigns. ”I’ve got your kids. I’ve got your kids, Rome.” Side note to anyone mental enough to watch NXT regularly; was Sol Ruca always this shit? Or have a few botches since arriving on the main roster completely knocked her confidence? She’s became genuinely uncomfortable to watch. Super tentative, stumbling a few extra steps on almost everything, fucking up about half of everything she attempts. Honestly, in her current form, putting her in Money in the Bank feels genuinely dangerous. I’d be half tempted to shoot an angle that removes her whilst you still can. Quote

Another thing that I disliked about his promo was that it was focused on Roman Reigns being a phony. There was no fire or passion about the prospect of winning his first world title, and nothing that made me want to see that happen. It was "you're a moaner", "yeah? Well, you're fake and overpushed" and that was that. Maybe if Knight had cut a killer promo about wanting to finally reach the summit, I'd feel differently about this. If he doesn't seem to care about winning the World Title, why should I care? And yeah, maybe this is by design, because they don't plan to have him win. But I don't really see the benefit of not framing becoming World Champion as his goal and dream. 1 hour ago, TheScarlettChad said: I just want Knight to win the title. That's not much to ask. I've loved him since 2023. He needs the win on Roman he should have gotten three fucking years ago when he was incredibly over. And the fact he's still over now proves they should go with it. And if it fails, then at least you tried. WWE is scared of taking risks. I can't say I agree with you here. If Knight had beaten Reigns at the height of his popularity, you'd not have had the magical moment of Cody beating him at Wrestlemania - or at least, the context would have been different if you had. While it's definitely a risk to put the World title on LA Knight, it's also a risk to stick a fork in a live plug socket and I wouldn't condone that either. For better or worse, Oba Femi does seem to be another level of over right now. While I think holding off on the Reigns/Femi match until Wrestlemania is too long to wait; particularly since it's going to be a show in Saudi Arabia, given the reactions he has been getting, it's probably the right choice to have him as your next World Champion. Penta winning in Mexico was the other option, but that moment has passed now. 41 minutes ago, Chili said: Has Big Bill/Cass popped up back on TV there yet? Yes, he's been on TV for a while now and is currently feuding with Dragon Lee after losing to him last week. EDIT: @Supremo - I thought Sol Ruca was brilliant in NXT, but you're spot on - something is off with her on the main roster, and she seems to be plagued with a level of self-doubt that makes her scary to watch. I don't know if she's low on confidence or what it is, but there's clearly an issue that wasn't there previously. Edited Tuesday at 10:54 AM by RedTwoster Quote

In the fictional world, the idea of strapping the rocket to someone makes no sense - you either win or you don't, and if you do, you therefore deserve a title shot. If you're winning matches without getting your opportunity fair enough, have a moan, but that's not the context in which this was presented. There is a way to make it make sense, but very few manage it - the strength of CM Punk's Pipebomb promo was that he actually managed to weave all the shoot stuff into actually promoting the match with Cena, and making it make sense for his character. It wasn't about Cena winning all the time, it was about him being the face of the company, getting all the special treatment that comes with it despite not being, in Punk's eyes, the best or most deserving company there. I haven't seen the promo from RAW, but there's ways to tread the line well enough around Reigns, I think. He does get special treatment - he shows up whenever he feels like it, while other wrestlers are expected to clock in every week. There was a time, pre-Tribal Chief, when he was clearly the anointed top guy, yet he actually wasn't winning all that often - I remember him losing to Braun Strowman a lot - so there's something there about how he was given constant opportunities that other wrestlers weren't given. You can spin it like a UFC fighter being given big main event fights because they're a box office attraction, regardless of their win/loss record or how often they fight, or of a fighter being a pet project of the promoter so given more chances than others. The moment you make it about a "push" or "creative", you're just telling everyone it's fake, and I know WWE don't give a shit about that any more, but they probably should. Quote

Paid Members DCW Posted Tuesday at 11:16 AM Paid Members Posted Tuesday at 11:16 AM Jaysus, I can't believe they're doing the shooty bollocks in a B feud between Reigns and Knight. It sorta makes sense (but is obviously still shit) when Punk does it. But having Knight do it is so bloody lazy. Triple H genuinely only has about 3 storyline ideas he cycles through, where his only real creativity seems to be reserved for choreographing wrestlers entrances in minute detail. Quote

Green as goose shit and called up to the main roster way too quickly, ahead of other women that were far further along in their development, such as Jaida Parker, who has just got the call up now. The upsides to Sol Ruca are obvious to the point that it's not difficult to understand why they fast-tracked her, but realistically she needed at least another year or two in NXT. Quote

Wouldn't do any harm sending her back really, they mention her in every Zaria match as it is Quote
