Paid Members Duke Posted April 1, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted April 1, 2020 My wife is writing a quiz for her work and it's basically taking a survey of her team about the big questions in life. How do you pronounce scone, do you stand up or sit down to wipe, that kind of thing. But she's running out of ideas beyond "Do you put vinegar on a roast?" (No). It occurred to me that never have I seen these questions more thoroughly debated and wrong views exposed like on the UKFF. So I'm hoping you lovely people will be able to provide some help for it. Any ideas of the kind of wrong thinking we might be able to expose?

(No) Changing your question as I disagree with it, is a hash brown necessary for a full English to be a full English? No in the same way that black pudding isn't, but it is a wonderful extra. How about what is the correct tea/ milk ratio in a cup of tea?

You've got the Banh Mi sandwich which can have pretty much anything in or everything if you get the "special". Or you can Bo Ne which is beef fillet, sausage and pate grilled on a metal skillet with fried onions and served with bread! Bloody lovely actually. Hash brown is American....got some thinking to do over that one.

Some people don't think beans belong on a full English, let alone hash browns. I'd have both regardless.

I do not disagree that they taste good, that isn't my argument at all. They taste bloody lovely. They are just not part of a full english.
