Black Summer. Don’t waste your time. Abysmal once you get beyond the first episode or two. Nothing brave or creative, and - while I don’t need everything explained - the plot jumps are either lazy or the money simply ran out.

Just noticed that Snowpiercer has FINALLY been added to UK Netflix. Needless to say it's great and should be watched immediately.

Indeed, one of the best comic book films I've seen.

Just finished The Rain series 2. It’s a bloody stupid show sometimes, and this series has been a bit too far fetched, but it’s a pretty easy, decent watch and Alba August is utterly charming.

I’d definitely watch another series of it, and if you’re scratching around for a drama to watch, it’s not that long either.

If anybody hasn't seen it then I massively reccomend Santa Clarita Diet.

It is pretty good but cancelled unfortunately.

That was just too odd for me.

The Danish thriller The Guilty has just been added to Netflix. One of the better films I saw last year, and certainly one of the best I saw at the cinema. Only 85 minutes too, so even better.

I kinda can't stand Favreau but I'll give it a go. Salt Fat Acid Heat is well worth a go for hardcore 'why does this taste so good?' telly.

Chef was a fantastic film, even I might watch that. It's easily the best thing Favreau's ever done.

Yeah I agree with that. Anything that tames his smugness helps.

Think I’ve mentioned it before but Ugly Delicious is excellent too.
