Mr_Danger
That's much more like it. Take the best two parts of the franchise and go overboard on the ridiculousness. Obviously thisĀ alienates people who were part of the scene back in the day. The scene being Max Power and Novas.

It came out at just the right time for me, back when it was a scene I was quite into. The more they've gone on, and the more they've moved away from street racing, the more I've hated the films. We watched 8 the other night and it was dreadful. We ended up laughing at most of it, as at least it was a way of getting something out of it. That said, I have a soft spot for 5. The actual code is 13245678. Careful. The wankers here won't like this.
Merzbow
If you love the original movies you have to check out the Megalopolis Expressway Trial series, proper cheesy Japanese films about the illegal street races of the time. I think a couple even got banned for promoting dangerous driving.

SuperBacon
Iāve never seen any of these, have zero interest in cars, but Iāve just seen the Hobbs and Shaw trailer and it looks a bunch of fun. Shall I just watch the ones with The Rock? Or is there mileage in the earlier ones?
Joe Blog
Haha MileageĀ
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted April 28, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) Vin Diesel says Paul Walker sent John Cena to him from the afterlife to star in FF9 http://www.darkhorizons.com/john-cena-up-for-fast-and-furious-9/ Yes please, he can replace The Rock and Paul Walker at the same time, has anyone ever been a better fit for anything?Ā He can't really replace Paul Walker, no one can Edited April 28, 2019 by Bellenda Carlisle Your mum
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 28, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted April 28, 2019 Cena's had a really good run with films, this is a great call. Give him plenty of one-liners though, he's become one of the best comedy actors around.
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted April 28, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 28, 2019 I'm delighted for Big Match John. He's handled the transition to films brilliantly and he's got a good knack of picking good films to star in. Bumblebee, for example, was such a surprisingly well madeĀ film considering Transformers usually isn't about that life.
Paid Members BigJag Posted April 28, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 28, 2019 Only because Michael Bay is a daft fool. They made fortunes though which has allowed the likes of Bumblebee to come forth and redress the imbalance created by bay formers.

Merzbow
I'm just waiting for the inevitable big action film pitting Cena against Batista, or even a buddy movie with the two of them.

Batista has a buddy cop film coming up called Stuber with Kumail Nanjiani, which everyone should be ridiculously excited for.
