He tried the Spacey method. Wonder how many other things he's done, And if the lad he had an affair with, will start speaking out.

You'd have to think Schofield knows the guy is going to start talking (apparently there's an NDA which is due to expire soon) and, like he did when he came out, got there first.
He has said he is stepping back from public life.

It seems like the shit if well and truly about to hit the fan.

In his statement he outright denied there was any sort of injunction and also that the young lad forced him to come out, which were both rumours going around. Be interesting to see if either statement is proven to be true or false when that rumoured injunction date rolls around.

He denied any knowledge of one, not the existence of one. It’s an important distinction. But I’m sure the man who admits to lying back then isn’t lying now.

They won’t mention the injunction when it’s lifted, it will just be whatever stories are published. Interestingly he stated the person in question didn’t want to go public with a story and yet the injunction was apparently created when said person had sold their story to the Sunday shitrags.

Is this him trying to disrance himself from it by feigning outrage and attempting to distance himself from it?

He worked at McColl's. I forgot to say he was trying to plead ignorance.

Eamonn's a GBeebies muppet playing to his dwindled audience of conspiracy theorists. Also, putting your OBE in your Twitter name is a twat move.

Well, if he knows that management knew, does this mean he knew?

Yes. And hes been hinting at it for a while. It is also believed Ruth raising concerns is what led to her and Eamonn getting the elbow from This Morning.
