Paid Members Gus Mears Posted March 9, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 9, 2017 Some very sad news as noted children's TV presenter Tony Hart also died upwards of 5 years ago.
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted March 9, 2017 Awards Moderator Share Posted March 9, 2017 I'm watching The West Wing for the first time and just found out John Spencer died 10 years ago. It's news to me so I count it as a 2017 loss.

Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted March 19, 2017 Awards Moderator Share Posted March 19, 2017 Chuck Berry has died aged 90. Â Â Obviously a good long life (well, when he was being good...), but another of the great rock n rollers gone. So influential.
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted March 19, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 19, 2017 Good age for a guitarist. Â Yeah, that one hit me last night. Genuinely an all time great, the course of music may well have been quite different had he never been about.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted March 19, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted March 19, 2017 He was 90. Â He was notoriously difficult to deal with, a bit crazy, got up to no good with ladies that he shouldn't, and he was black in an era when that was considered a problem in itself. Â That he made it to 90 without being killed by an angry husband, father or lynch mob is quite the achievement.
