Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 6, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted February 6, 2018 Then eventually have him wrestle in a tag team with a martial artist NXTer, and call it "Clive N' Kicking".
UK Kat Von D
After that have him go by his real name, wear black trunks and be a no non-sense badass.
Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted February 7, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted February 7, 2018 Another good show in the 205 Live reboot. Strong vs Itami was really good. Tozawa vs Mark Andrews next week could be another show stealer.
The Dart
I wonder who else will be in the tournament. Unless Noam Dar, Brian Kendrick, Neville or Rich Swann come back in the next 2 weeks they're going to need at least 1 more 'surprise' entry. Shane O' Mac Version 2
I'm irrationally annoyed that we haven't been given brackets for this tournament. Even if they put "?????" in the upcoming brackets so they could continue announcing the opening round matches week by week. I like some order in my tournaments, dammit. The Dart
According to PWInsider the reason 205 Live's seemed much better the last couple of weeks is Vince McMahon's decided to hand over full control of it to Triple H. Hopefully once it's back to being a full hour once the MMC is over it can continue to improve. Ambulance Chaser
Strong beckoning Itami to get up and fight by saying "CMON KENTA" aint going down well. If vince gets wind he'll be losing to Heath Slater on Raw Monday
Shane O' Mac Version 2
Haha, I caught that too. Strong kinda had a "oh shit" look on his face for a second before quickly saying, "C'mon Itami!" WWE referred to KENTA by that name when he first signed though, so it's probably no big deal.
Paid Members El Mistique Posted February 8, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2018 Pete Dunne to win the whole thing. Calling it now.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted February 8, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2018 Didn't think of that. Although to be honest, I'd keep him well clear of the whole thing. I know it's going through a bit of a resurgence, but I don't think they should risk giving Dunne that '205 stank' that he may struggle to get rid of. I'd chuck him straight onto Raw when they're ready to stick him on regular TV.
The Dart
I wonder if Drake Maverick might put himself in the tournament.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted February 8, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2018 Has he done much wrestling over the past few years? Other than the odd indy, that is. Whenever I saw clips of him in TNA it was always in an authority-type angle. I remember seeing him wrestle against Hornswoggle, but other than that I can't remember the last time I saw him wrestle in TNA (admittedly without watching it much). But yeah, I'd love for him to be the final entrant.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 8, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2018 It'd be a massive waste for him not to ever wrestle again. He's got years left on his career, and, more importantly, he was one of the best workers on the indy scene ever, and that's no exaggeration. Great storyteller in the ring and out - the guy just gets it.

I wouldn't be against him throwing himself into the tournament. He did say in his debut promo that he had worked his whole career to get to WWE, it would make sense that he would want to wrestle there
