Dreams.

From the "You've been watching too many Mafia movies and action movies" (except I hadn't), I had a dream the other week where a mate of mine instead of living in his family home had taken over the top floor of a block of flats as an office and had a waiting room with a right angle sofa that I was sat on the corner of while these big heavies sat on the ends, with me squashed in between them. Then my mate came out of his office and started putting on one of those motorcycle suits with the padding before heading out.

Me: "You've got a motorbike now?"
Him: "Nah, scared to death of them. Just bought it really cheap."

Dream last night of going out to buy new dogs for my family during the day while also being present to direct the video for the AWA WrestleRock Rumble. No real life conversation of buying new dogs nor have I listened to the song in years, so I have no idea why the two were mixed together.

Dreamed last night that I was working at Microsoft, where I  was about 10 years ago, but now Roger Waters, founder member of Pink Floyd was also there. According to all sources, he's a difficult person but he was an absolute charm in the dream.

I have no idea why I had this dream. And I can't think of nicer way to say it.                  So, I was going down on Julie Andrews. And not back in the day, Mary Poppins era Julie Andrews. Modern day Julie Andrews.

I suppose as 89 year old women go, she's not the worst one you could have ended up with, and you've still got the Mary Poppins bragging rights.

I dreamed that I went to a bar, queued for ages, and then got told I had to be a member to get served. Found a table with a load of membership forms, all filled in by people I knew, but no one I knew was actually there to vouch for me. For some reason I just hung around for ages as if it would just sort itself out. 

Then I spotted Bill Oddie at the bar, spelling out his name to someone, and I butted in to say that I was surprised he didn't do the B. Oddie joke, but then said it might be weird because it's not his joke. He sort of blustered his way through a response, I asked for a photo, and then I couldn't get my phone to work properly - it kept trying to take a video instead of a photo, and I couldn't get it to stop. He took his own phone out, and I thought I was being polite in telling him not to, and then spent ages awkwardly apologising for not being able to get my own phone to work instead, and felt like a prick about it.

No idea what my subconscious is trying to tell me there.

The most recent dream I can remember involves me being cornered by a mate who's really awkward and taciturn but on this occasion wanting to chat all day while stinking of BO and it being a challenge to get away as quickly as I could.

Had a nice twist on an anxiety dream last night. The usual I'm back at university for some reason and I'm there to get my results, and I didn't prepare for any of the exams or do any of the coursework I'm supposed to, so I'm shitting it. However, I suddenly realised I have a full time job anyway so whatever the results were it didn't matter at all. I spent the rest of the dream riding a wave of relief and supporting some friends who were getting their results too. Never had that happen before, that I can recall.

Dreamt someone I know won £10 billion in some competition or other and because I'd helped they were going to give me £1 billion of it. Spent the rest of the dream thinking of all the things I could do, all the friends and family I could help out, and an oddly long debate with myself about whether I would start wearing high end designer clothes all the time.

Crushing disappointment on waking up of course.

A few years ago, I was re-watching Castle and getting though a dozen episodes a day until one night, I dreamt my own death in the style of the show's cold open.
