Merzbow Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 I hope they were free or that's false advertising. Quote

Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted April 12, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 12, 2020 Northern Monk have finally lost their minds. A roast dinner brown ale actually brewed with Aunt Bessies yorkshires and roasties! That said, I'm all in. Quote
Paid Members stumobir Posted April 12, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 12, 2020 No! ? (where are these on sale?) Quote

Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted May 30, 2020 Paid Members Posted May 30, 2020 Got these delivered yesterday. The espresso martini is pretty good, but the candied bacon is amazing. Quote
Joe Blog Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Hipster. I have been jumping between session and IPA lately. Don't really know enough about beers and ales to make informed choices so I just go with a assortment and it's all trial and error. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted May 30, 2020 Paid Members Posted May 30, 2020 I generally like imperial stouts, but I'll try anything really. Though it's rare I like anything sour. Quote
Joe Blog Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 If you have any recommendations let me know, always looking to add to my ale consumption. My local shop has a great selection and also have built a bar onto the back which always have guest casks on tap. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted May 30, 2020 Paid Members Posted May 30, 2020 Theres a facebook group called Hop Hunters that are really good for recommendations. Friendly group with none of the often seen real ale twats. I'd always recommend anything by Tiny Rebel, and Millionaire by Wild Beer is amazing. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted June 24, 2020 Paid Members Posted June 24, 2020 Oh man, this is one of the best beers ever. I mean crazy good, if you like sweet, dessert imperial stouts. The smell is so close to an actual chocolate chip cookie its amazing. If it wasn't near a tenner a can I would drink them all the time. And at a tenner its still about the right price point compared to the market. Quote
Joe Blog Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 My dalliance with ale is over. Not only did it dent my wallet buy it also extended my waistline. I have returned to red wine and self loathing instead. Ales will be reserved for afternoon beers at the pub once in a blue moon. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted June 24, 2020 Paid Members Posted June 24, 2020 Yeah, I admit it costs me far more than I'm really comfortable with. But sometimes you find an utter cracker. Quote
