wordsfromlee
I am completely in love with Little Simz.
Merzbow
Little Simz is great, the UK's in a good place with her Dave and slowthai on top of hip-hop. The latter now seemingly doing something with Jpegmafia has me frothing from the tip.

Such an underrated MC. Completely passed me by that a new Little Brother album came out! Without 9th Wonder, but the production is tight, especially the Black Milk produced Picture This. Good few months for hip hop.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted September 26, 2019 Author Moderators Share Posted September 26, 2019 Oh cool. Will have to check that out. I think Skyzoo has come on a long way tbh. I don't rate that album he did with 9th a while back, and I am a fan of 9ths production.
wordsfromlee
OK I’ve decided. Ultralight Beam is Kanye West’s best track.
Paid Members Dead Mike Posted September 27, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted September 27, 2019 (edited) Just got tickets for this. 'Early bird' was only £35 inc fees which seems like an absolute bargain. Talib Kweli & Jeru The Damaja have also been added since this poster was released too. They're also happening in London & Bristol. Something to look forward too during the most depressing month of the year.....  Edited September 27, 2019 by Dead Mike
SuperBacon
Going to the London date. Hoping for some Black Star action as Yasiin Bey is...questionable live these days.

I'd likely pay £20 just to see Pharcyde again.

SuperBacon
100% sure I’ve posted this before but I’ve just come across it again and it really is one of my favourite things. The absolute state of Das EFX’s trousers
SuperBacon
Ocean Wisdoms new album 4AM is very, very good. As with most hip hop albums you can skip the skits, and whilst it’s not as strong as his High Focus stuff, he still murders most tracks. Strong features as well, Ghetts, Dizzee, P Money, Fatboy Slim, Freddie Gibbs, Akala.

I'm seeing him again next month in Manchester, this will kill live.
